This invention is a method for the processing of organic materials or organic wastes in a cost-effective and environmentally sound manner. The invention works both in the anaerobic or aerobic state. Processing organic material is accomplished by forcing the flow of gas through a pile of material, containing some organic matter, with liquids and gravity. The movement of gas and liquids through the pile results in very large increases in microorganism populations, accelerated evolution of the microorganisms, and corresponding increases in the processing provided organic materials.

ROTTING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AN ORGANIC MATERIAL
20210403391 · 2021-12-30 ·

A method for rotting an organic material includes at least partially controlling a rotting device with a control unit and feeding an organic material into a pivoted rotting chamber of the rotting device, having the organic material rotted in the rotting chamber for a rotting time, turning the rotting chamber by a chamber drive unit of the rotting device, and exhausting the rotted organic material from the rotting chamber after the rotting time. A device for rotting the organic material includes a pivoted rotting chamber for enclosing the organic material. The rotting chamber has a port and a cover associated with the port for opening and closing the port, a chamber drive unit configured to turn the rotting chamber, and a control unit connected to the chamber drive unit and configured to operate the chamber drive unit.

Modular portable renewable energy microgeneration system

A portable and modular renewable energy microgeneration apparatus is disclosed that includes at least four modular units. The first modular unit includes a mixing tank and a chopper. The second modular unit includes a buffer tank, a liquor tank, and a pasteurization tank that pasteurizes waste that has been mixed with liquid from the liquor tank by the mixer, chopped into smaller sized components by the chopper, and pre-warmed by the buffer tank. The third modular unit includes a digestion tank that performs anaerobic digestion on pasteurized waste received from the pasteurization tank. And the fourth modular unit includes a gas storage tank that stores gas generated by the waste in at least one of the mixing tank, the chopper, the buffer tank, the liquor tank, the pasteurization tank, and the digestion tank. Each of the four modular units is both portable and modular.

SMART COMPOSTING APPARATUS

A composting apparatus comprises a bin, an access panel, an aerator, a water content sensor, a valve, and a composting controller. The bin stores organic materials and compost therein. The access panel, disposed over an opening within the bin, allows access to an interior of the bin. The aerator, disposed within the bin, allows air into the bin to aerate the organic materials and compost therein. The water content sensor, disposed within the bin, senses a quantity of water within the organic materials and compost within the bin. The valve, coupled to a water line, controls a quantity of water added to the bin. The composting controller, coupled to the water content sensor and the water valve, actuates the water valve to control a quantity of water added to the bin based on the sensed quantity of water within the organic materials and compost.

Nutritional Compositions for Plants and Soils

Nutritional compositions for application to plants and soils are disclosed. In various aspects the compositions comprise an autothermal thermophilic aerobic bioreaction product from a liquid fraction of poultry manure. The compositions can be produced in a manner that permits their use in organic farming programs. Methods of making the compositions and methods of treating plants and/or soils with the compositions are also disclosed.
