WATER-SOLUBLE FERTILIZER
A fertilizer composition includes, relative to the total weight of composition, from 0.5 to 32.0 weight percentage of at least one sulphur water-soluble fertilizing nutrient chosen from a sulphur compound according to general formula (I.sub.S), and from 1.0 to 20.0 wt. % of water. The composition includes at least one phosphorus and calcium water-soluble fertilizing nutrient. The composition, relative to the total weight of composition, has a total calcium content from 0.5 to 32.0 wt. %, as expressed in wt. % of CaO, and a total phosphorus content from 3.0 to 65.0 wt. %, as expressed in wt. % of P.sub.2O.sub.5.

FERTILIZER USING CARBON DIOXIDE TO INCREASE PLANT YIELD AND METHOD OF INCREASING PLANT YIELD
A fertilizer having a source of carbon dioxide, a source of nitrogen, and a source of carbohydrate, and an acid in an amount to provide increased retention of carbon dioxide in the soil. A method of enhancing the growth of plants by applying the fertilizer to soil containing the plant, the acid increasing retention of the carbon dioxide in the soil, and the plant exhibiting enhanced growth from the combination of the nitrogen, carbon dioxide and carbohydrate.

FOLIAR FEEDING FORMULATION AND METHODS OF USE
Described is a hydroponic system wherein a feed formulation comprising a plant's nutritionally effective amount of at least one amino acid, which upon uptake, becomes a substantial source of nitrogen for said plant, is applied to the foliage of the plant, and the roots of the plant are in contact with an incomplete water solution that comprises less than the plant's nutritional nitrogen requirements. The feed formulation, methods of feeding a plant or plant seed, and plants produced thereby are also described.
