ENHANCED EFFICIENCY FERTILIZER WITH UREASE INHIBITOR AND NITRIFICATION SEPARATED WITHIN THE SAME PARTICLE

Fertilizer particles with urease inhibitors and nitrification inhibitors are described herein. The fertilizer particles can include a core particle comprising a urease inhibitor and an outer layer comprising a nitrification inhibitor.

COATED FERTILIZER CONTAINING UREASE INHIBITOR

Magnesium oxide, urease inhibitor, and superphosphate coated urea-based fertilizer core, methods for their use, and production thereof, are disclosed. The coating can be a powder coating containing particles that are 1 micron to 100 microns in average mean diameter. The fertilizer core, coated by the magnesium oxide, urease inhibitor, and superphosphate coating, can contain 50 wt. % or more, based on the total weight of the core, of a urea-based fertilizer, such as urea. The coating can optionally contain or exclude anticaking agent(s), and/or binding agent(s).

PARTICLES OF FERTILIZERS ENCAPSULATED IN MODIFIED CHITOSAN AND OBTAINING METHOD

The present invention relates to fertilizer particles encapsulated in modified chitosan and a method of obtaining them. The particles described in this invention allow a controlled, moderate, or gradual release of an active material from a reserve substrate to another medium, in order to increase the effectiveness of the active material by prolonging its action over time. This invention is characterized in that the active components of said formulations are capable of causing a synergistic effect, considerably increasing the growth and development of plants.

HOLLOW CORE GRANULES, PRODUCTS INCORPORATING THE GRANULES, AND METHODS OF PREPARING THE GRANULES

The present disclosure relates to hollow core granules, products incorporating the hollow core granules, and methods of making the hollow core granules. The hollow core granules can comprise at least one wall surrounding a cavity that is devoid of any solid or liquid so as to define a hollow core, the at least one wall comprising a plurality of individual particles of at least one wall forming material, the plurality of individual particles sufficiently bound together so that the at least one wall is structurally self-sustaining. The hollow core granules further can include a binder material present in the at least one wall. The hollow core granules can be useful as a standalone material and/or may be useful in preparing a variety of products wherein the hollow core granules may be mixed or otherwise combined with further components. The disclosure further provides methods of making such hollow core granules.
