Non-aqueous organo liquid delivery systems containing dispersed poly (organic acids) that improve availability of macro and micro-nutrients to plants

The present invention relates to improving the efficiency of man-made and/or natural organic-based animal manure fertilizers by administration of formulations containing poly(organic acids), [P(OA)]s, and/or their salts dispersed in a Non-aqueous Organic Solvent Delivery System (NOSDS). Utilizing a NOSDS allows for coating all components in a fertilizer formulation including but not limited to Urea, Manure, mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP), di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), solid micronutrients such as lime, zinc chloride, etc.) with a layer of [P(OA)]s and/or their salts that liberates, in a plant available form, the micronutrient metals and macronutrients, that are bound as insoluble salts and complexes in the soil. The carboxylic groups of a [P(OA)] that can exist within the [P(OA)] as carboxylic acids, carboxylic anhydrides and/or carboxylic imides, dispersed within the NOSDS, can be neutralized with one or more metals in the form of elemental metals, metal oxides, metal hydroxides, metal alkylates and metal carbonates and/or nitrogen containing compounds such as ammonia, ammonium hydroxide or organoamines to form a stable dispersion that can contain completely complexed micronutrients and provide the vehicle for the delivery of these nutrients to soils and/or as a coating to the surfaces fertilizer granules and seeds.

STABILIZED UREA FERTILIZER COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PREPARING SAME

Provided in the invention is a stabilized fertilizer composition (I) suitable for use in fertilizers and comprising: Urea (a), One or more compounds (b), One or more urease inhibitors (c1) and/or one or more nitrification inhibitors (c2), optionally provided in one or more carriers (d), said compounds (c) being different from compounds (b), Optionally one or more additives (e) different from any of the above, and Water (f) in an amount less than about 10 wt % and preferably less than about 5 wt %; wherein compounds (b) are selected from thiosulfates (b1) and/or from polysulfides (b2) and/or from (bi)sulfites (b3); and wherein the ratio of urea (a) to compounds (b) is from 1:99 to 99:1, preferably from 2:98 to 98:2. Products of the invention can be made in various forms and in different ways. All of the materials of the invention are suitable for use in fertilizers and blend well with solid and liquid fertilizers standardly used. They have excellent shelf life and provide good urea-N protection.

The present invention relates to improving the efficacy of man-made and/or natural organic-based animal manure fertilizers by administration of an organic solvent formula containing polyorganic acids and/or their salts. The formulation liberates nutrient(s) that are normally bound in the soil as insoluble salts and complexes. These delivery formulations also provide an environmentally sound and inherently safe solvating system that improves diffusion of polyorganic acids to the granule fertilizer. These delivery formulations enable safe storage, transport and subsequent application or blending with solid or liquid fertilizers. The combined formulation and fertilizer can be applied to soil to provide improved efficacy of fertilizer by liberating nutrients bound in the soil for uptake by plant life.

METHOD FOR FERTILIZING CORN IN SEMI-HUMID REGION FOR ONE TIME

The present invention relates to a method for fertilizing corn in a semi-humid region for one time, and belongs to the field of agricultural fertilization. The method adopts a corn seeding and fertilizing combined machine to sow and fertilize for one time in a semi-humid region. The method realizes nutrient supply throughout the growth of corn without performing top dressing in a later stage. The method improves fertilizer utilization, saves labor cost and improves production and income. The present invention effectively improves ventilation and light transmission conditions in the corn field, eliminates the effect of a stubble of a preceding crop on the emergence of corn, improves uniformity, and reduces nutrient loss.

ENCAPSULATED FERTILIZER COMPRISING ESSENTIAL OILS, POLYMERS AND MACRONOTRUIENTS AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF

An encapsulated fertilizer comprising a core comprising a fertilizer compound in a plurality of layers comprising a fertilizer compound, a polymer, micronized sulfur and starch. A method for preparing an encapsulated fertilizer comprising four layers. The encapsulated fertilizer has a homogeneous coating of its surface, is devoid of cracks and preferential paths or channels, so that the fertilizer compound can be released to the environment in a controlled manner.

CONTROLLED RELEASE POTASSIUM CHLORIDE FERTILIZER

The invention relates to a process for producing a controlled release fertilizer of potassium chloride comprising the following steps: a. providing compacted KCl, having a sphericity of below 0.87; b. dry polishing the KCl in an intensive mixer type device consisting of a container vessel and at least one set of agitating elements such that the KCl has a sphericity of between 0.88 and 0.92; c. providing a coating on said polished KCl. The polished and coated compacted KCl can show with 6 pph coating a release of about 18% after 7 days measured with a water leach test at 21 C. The polished and coated compacted KCl may have one or more of the following release properties: a release at 10 days of about 20% or less; and/or a release at 30 days of 40% or less; and/or a release at 50 days of 50% or less.
