A composition comprising a) one or more seeds and b) a liquid coating wherein the liquid coating is a non-aqueous liquid formulation, wherein said non-aqueous liquid formulation comprises a) one or more Poly(organic acids) [P(OA)]s, and/or their salts, completely dissolved in b) a Non-aqueous Organo Solvent Delivery System (NOSDS), wherein the NOSDS is a delivery system for adding the one or more [P(OA)]s and/or their salts to the surface of said one or more said seeds.

Coated dehydrated microorganisms with enhanced stability and viability

The present invention relates to coated dehydrated microorganisms comprising a dehydrated microorganism surrounded by at least one coating, said coating comprising by dry weight at least 25% of hygroscopic salt(s) and wherein the pH of the coating is compatible with viability of the coated dehydrated microorganism. The coating can be partially crystalline, the salt(s) in the coating having preferably a crystallinity degree of up to 60% once applied onto the dehydrated microorganism. The present invention also relates to liquid coating compositions, methods for coating and protecting a dehydrated microorganism. Finally, the present invention relates to a method for the preparation of food products, feed products, consumer healthcare products or agri-products as well as to a food product, feed product, a consumer healthcare product or an agri-product containing such coated dehydrated microorganisms.

Calcium sulfate urea granules and methods for producing and using the same

A calcium sulfate urea (UCS) fertilizer granule and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The granule can include urea, calcium sulfate, and a calcium sulfate urea adduct, wherein a portion of the surface of the calcium sulfate urea adduct includes a layer comprising urea, calcium sulfate, or calcium sulfate urea adduct, or any combination or all thereof.

Stabilized urea fertilizer compositions and methods for preparing same

Provided in the invention is a stabilized fertilizer composition (I) suitable for use in fertilizers and comprising: Urea (a), One or more compounds (b), One or more urease inhibitors (c1) and/or one or more nitrification inhibitors (c2), optionally provided in one or more carriers (d), said compounds (c) being different from compounds (b), Optionally one or more additives (e) different from any of the above, and Water (f) in an amount less than about 10 wt % and preferably less than about 5 wt %; wherein compounds (b) are selected from thiosulfates (b1) and/or from polysulfides (b2) and/or from (bi)sulfites (b3); and wherein the ratio of urea (a) to compounds (b) is from 1:99 to 99:1, preferably from 2:98 to 98:2. Products of the invention can be made in various forms and in different ways. All of the materials of the invention are suitable for use in fertilizers and blend well with solid and liquid fertilizers standardly used. They have excellent shelf life and provide good urea-N protection.
