CONDITIONING AGENT FOR A PARTICULATE FERTILIZER FOR REDUCING HYGROSCOPICITY AND DUST FORMATION
The invention relates to a conditioning agent for reducing water absorption and dust formation of a particulate fertilizer, comprising 10 to 50 weight % of wax, 40 to 90 weight % of mineral oil and 1 to 15 weight % of a resin being mineral oil-soluble and miscible with wax and mineral oil, wherein the agent further comprises 0.1 to 1 weight % of a viscoelastic elastomer selected from the group of polyisobutylene and styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer which is soluble in mineral oil and has an average molecular weight of 30.000 to 5.000.000. The invention further relates to a particulate fertilizer composition, preferably a urea-ammonium sulfate (UAS) fertilizer, a urea fertilizer or a calcium nitrate fertilizer, comprising a particulate substrate, preferably an hygroscopic fertilizer, preferably a nitrogen-containing fertilizer, and 0.05 to 2 weight % of said coating thereon for reducing moisture uptake and dust formation of said fertilizer.
METHOD OF HYDROPONICALLY GROWING OF PLANTS
A method of hydroponic growing of plants comprising hydroponically growing the plants in the presence of a controlled release hydroponic fertilizer composition. The hydroponic fertilizer composition comprises a polymerically coated controlled release fertilization nutrient formulation which further comprises micronutrients and optionally chelated iron.
Controlled-release fertilizers
The present invention relates to a controlled-release fertilizer, including: a photodegradable capsule including a binder resin containing a polyolefin and an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, and a photocatalytic composite in which a (co)polymer including at least one repeating unit selected from the group consisting of an ethylene repeating unit and a vinyl acetate repeating unit is bonded to the surface or inside of agglomerates of inorganic fine particles; and a fertilizer contained in a space surrounded by the photodegradable capsule.

Root Exudate-Activated System for Agrochemical Delivery
A system for delivering fertilizer to the roots of a plant includes coated fertilizer particles. The coating can include a cellulose derivative, optionally a fatty acid, and a component, such as an aptamer, which binds specifically to a material, such as serine, which is released by the roots of the plant when the plant is actively taking up nutrients from the soil. The permeability of the coating increases when the coated particles are exposed to the material released by the roots of the plant. Thus, nutrient release from the coated fertilizer particles is synchronized with uptake of the nutrients by the plant during active growth. Advantages of the system may include one or more of improved nitrogen use efficiency by the plant, improved crop productivity, and/or reduced leaching of fertilizer from the soil.

Microenvironment for efficient uptake of fertilizers and other agrochemicals in soil
The present invention provides a bead comprising: i) an external zone comprising a super absorbent polymer (SAP) that is capable of absorbing at least about 5 times its weight in water, surrounding ii) at least one internal zone comprising a core that contains at least one agrochemical, wherein the external zone is permeable to oxygen when hydrated, or the internal zone is formulated to release the at least one agrochemical into the external zone over a period of at least about one week when the hydrogel of the external zone is hydrated. The present invention also provides methods of using beads of the invention.
Plant Fertilizer And Soil Enhancement Composition Delivery Vehicle And Method
A soil enhancement fertilizer composition that is delivered in a water-soluble pouch. The pouch contains specially composted and pulverized camelid manure, Mycorrhizal fungi , and yucca powder. The pouch is dissolved in water and stirred to release its contents and then the solution is poured on the soil and/or applied to the leaves of both indoor or outdoor container plants.
CALCIUM PHOSPHATE COATED WITH HUMIC ACID OR PHENOLIC POLYMER AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to a slow-releasing fertilizer composition and a composition for increasing plant growth and plant tolerance to salt stress which comprise, as an effective ingredient, hydroxyapatite or in mixture with a tricalcium phosphate obtained from chemical synthesis or thermal treatment of bones, coated with humic acid or a polymer of monomeric phenol.
