Controlled-release fertilizers
The present disclosure relates to a controlled-release fertilizer and, more particularly, to a controlled-release fertilizer including: a photodegradable capsule including a binder resin containing a polyolefin and an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer; and a photocatalytic composite in which a (meth)acrylate compound containing an alkylene glycol repeating unit having 1 to 10 carbon atoms is bonded to the surface or inside of aggregates of inorganic fine particles, and a fertilizer contained in a space surrounded by the photodegradable capsule.
UREA GRANULATION PROCESS
A process of granulation of a urea melt, comprising: adding a first additive containing carboxymethyl starch to one or more first stage(s) of the granulation process, to form a carcarboxymethyl starch containing inner layer of urea granules, and adding a second additive containing calcium lignosulfonate to one or more second stage(s) of the granulation process, downstream said first stages, to form granules with a coating containing calcium lignosulfonate.
COATING CONTAINING MICRONUTRIENTS FOR FERTILIZER GRANULES
A wax-based coating for fertilizer granules capable of supplying micronutrients to soil while increasing the surface hydrophobicity and abrasion resistance of the fertilizer granules is disclosed. The wax-based coating provides the flexibility of formulating slow and fast releasing micronutrients, and ensures micronutrients are evenly coated across every fertilizer granule. Single or multi-nutrient combinations of coatings are possible, providing formulation flexibility.
Fertilizer coating for dust control and/or anti-caking
A method of reducing dust formation and/or caking in fertilizer or other particulates. The method comprises coating the fertilizer or other particulate in a coating comprising vacuum tower asphalt extender (VTAE). The VTAE may be a non-distilled fraction of vacuum distillation of used automotive and/or industrial oil. The VTAE may not be asphalt or bitumen, although the coating may further comprise bitumen.
Coated product form
A product form comprises an inanimate substrate comprising i) an active agent; and ii) carrier particles including at least an outer surface comprising an organic matter constituent, wherein the said active agent is combined within and/or on the surface of the carrier particles, the carrier particles being a) in dry, particulate form and carrying at least an electrostatic surface charge, and b) being at least substantially uniformly distributed over the outer surface of the substrate.
CONDITIONING AGENT FOR A PARTICULATE FERTILIZER
The present disclosure is related to a conditioning agent for reducing water absorption and dust formation of a particulate fertilizer, comprising 50 to 60 weight % of wax, 30 to 40 weight % of oil, 1 to 15 weight % of a resin being oil-soluble and miscible with wax and oil, and optionally 0.01 to 2.0 weight % of a viscoelastic elastomer which is soluble in oil. The conditioning agent may be applied to a particulate substrate, in particular a fertilizer particulate substrate, to reduce the moisture uptake and the dust formation of the substrate, in particular wherein the substrate is blended with other particulate compositions.
COATED FERTILIZER GRANULES
A fertilizer granule containing a core containing a plant nutrient; and a coat containing 55 wt. % to 90 wt. % of a poly butylene succinate adipate (PBSA), 10 wt. % to 45 wt. % of a second polymer selected from poly lactic acid (PLA), poly butylene succinate (PBS), or a combination or blend of PLA and PBS, and 0 wt. % to 30 wt. % of a wax based on the total weight of the coat, the coat forming a coating on an outer surface of the core and methods of making and using the fertilizer granule. Also a coating composition containing 55 wt. % to 90 wt. % of a PBSA and 10 wt. % to 45 wt. % of a second polymer selected from PLA, PBS, or a combination or a blend of PLA and PBS, and 0 wt. % to 30 wt. % of a wax.

Granules of polyhalite and urea
There is provided herein a fertilizer granule comprising Urea, Polyhalite and Ammonium Sulphate.
COATED GRANULAR FERTILIZERS, METHODS OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF, AND USES
A coated fertilizer comprises a fertilizer granule; and a coating disposed on a surface of the fertilizer granule, wherein the coating comprises a poly(lactic acid); a second polymer comprising a poly(butylene succinate), a cellulose triacetate, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing; and a sealant. Methods of making the coated fertilizer are also disclosed.
