APPLICATOR WITH BRISTLES OF PARTICLE-FILLED PLASTIC
A mascara brush with a core comprising at least two sections of wire twisted together along a wire core longitudinal axis and a set of bristles comprising bristles of plastic formed by filaments, which are respectively clamped between the two sections of wire and are formed at their free ends with a wedge-shaped bristle tip or without a wedge-shaped bristle tip. The mascara brush provides an increased storage capacity for the mascara composition to be applied with improved delivery of stored mascara composition to the lashes. This is achieved by the bristles being formed from a plastic material extruded into a fibre, to which outwardly protruding particles are added and/or which is provided with punctiform depressions (indentations), which roughen the bristle surface, wherein the bristles that have a wedge-shaped bristle tip at their free ends comprise at least one cut surface that forms a wedge and the surface roughness of which lies between 0.2 m and 6.3 m, in particular between 2.9 m and 6.3 m.
Toothbrush with Elastic Bristles
A toothbrush comprises a plurality of bristles, each of which comprises an upper part and a lower part, wherein toughness of the lower part is smaller than the toughness of the upper part, an enrooting member into which the bristles are enrooted, wherein the enrooting member comprises a plurality of enrooting holes that receive the plurality of bristles, wherein each of enrooting hole comprises an enrooting recess that receives the lower part of the bristle. A method of manufacturing a toothbrush comprises steps of cutting a predetermined length from a plastic wire; processing the cut wire into a bristle having an upper part and a lower part, wherein toughness of the lower part is smaller than the toughness of the upper part; and enrooting the bristles into a plurality of enrooting holes of the enrooting member.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having an arrangement of tooth cleaning elements thereon. The oral care implement may include a head extending from a proximal end to a distal end and comprising first and second peripheral sides. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from the head and are arranged in groups including a first peripheral grouping of tooth cleaning elements positioned adjacent the first peripheral side of the head and having first and second types of tooth cleaning elements, a distal grouping of tooth cleaning elements positioned adjacent the distal end of the head and having a third type of tooth cleaning element, and a proximal grouping of tooth cleaning elements positioned adjacent the proximal end of the head and having the third type of tooth cleaning element. The first, second, and third types of tooth cleaning elements are different in at least one more structural characteristics.
Toothbrush comprising elastomeric cleaning elements over-molded with a harder plastic and method for producing the same
A toothbrush is disclosed. The toothbrush includes a brush head including one or more cleaning elements; a handle; and a neck connecting the brush head and the handle. The one or more cleaning elements include at least one or more elastomeric cleaning elements having a first plastic material and one or more bristle tuft cleaning elements. The at least one or more cleaning elements are embedded into a second plastic material by over-molding. The Shore hardness of the second plastic material is greater than the Shore hardness of the first plastic material and the brush head is formed from the second plastic material during over-molding of the one or more cleaning elements.
MULTI-COMPONENT BRISTLE HAVING COMPONENTS WITH DIFFERENT ORAL CARE ADDITIVES, AND ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT COMPRISING THE SAME
An oral care implement (100) including at least multi-component bristle. The oral care implement (100) comprises a handle (120); a head (110) coupled to the handle (120); at least one bristle tuft extending from the head, the at least one bristle tuft comprises at least one multi-component bristle (200) comprising coextruded core (210) and sheath components (220), the sheath component (220) surrounding a first portion (215) of the core component (210), and a second portion (216) of the core component (210) protruding from the sheath component (220) at a tip portion (230) of the multi-component bristle (200); the sheath component (220) comprises a first plastic and a first oral care additive; the core component (210) comprises a second plastic and a second oral care additive, wherein the first oral care additive is different than the second oral care additive.
Ionomer-Containing Polymeric Monofilament Having a Silicone Oil Coated Surface
A monofilament of polymeric material with improved lubricating properties is provided. More specifically, on the basis of the existing silicone oil coated monofilament, by adding ionomers into the polyester and/or nylon materials for the monofilament, polymeric monofilament with further improved lubricating properties can be obtained. The present invention also provides methods of making the above-described monofilament; brush filaments made from the monofilament, and toothbrushes made from the brush filaments.
Fadable Multifunctional Monofilament Having a Core-Shell Structure
The present invention relates to a fadable multifunctional monofilament. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fadable multifunctional monofilament having a core-shell structure comprising an active substance(s) or a functional filler(s). The present invention also relates to a method for preparing the monofilament material, and a use of the monofilament material in a brush material such as a toothbrush.
BRISTLE TUFT, BRUSH ROLLER WITH BRISTLE TUFT, AND DISASSEMBLY METHOD OF BRUSH ROLLER
A bristle tuft, a brush roller with the bristle tuft, and a disassembly method of the brush roller, used in flooring production, particularly in the manufacture of printed flooring with three-dimensional wood grain textures on the surface. The bristle tuft comprises a plurality of bristles gathered into a tuft, wherein at least one bristle includes: a general root segment for mounting on a roller body, a general head segment extending in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the roller body, and a spacing segment disposed between the general root segment and the general head segment, used to space apart at least one adjacent bristle to form a separated state except for the general root segment, the spacing segment having a spacing structure.
