A brush comprises a plurality of filaments having a crimp structure and a J structure to provide a full distribution of filaments at an end surface of the brush, wherein the crimp structure of a majority of the filaments is configured with a period length of 2 mm to 5 mm and a peak to peak length of not greater than 0.8 mm, and the J structure is configured with a long length about 0.02 inches to about 1.2 inches, and a difference between the long length and a short length is about 0.2 inches to about 0.5 inches.

A twisted brush (1) having a bristle carrier (2) made of twisted together wire portions (3) which have oval and/or elliptical cross sections, at least in the distal portion (4) of the bristle carrier (2). Further, a twisted brush (1) whose bristle carrier (2) has an extraction protection (12) at a distance from its proximal end (11) is also provided. Using this extraction protection (12), the bristle carrier (2) can be fastened to the handle (7) of the twisted brush (1) in a manner protected against extraction. Moreover, a method for producing a twisted brush is also provided, wire portions (3), of which at least one is profiled, i.e. has at least two regions (4a, 6a, 13a) with different cross sections, are twisted together to form the bristle carrier (2). Further a brush production machine (20) having a wire-forming device (19), by which, in at least one region (4a, 6a, 13a) of a wire portion (3) to be profiled, a cross section of the wire portion (3) can be modified such that the wire portion (3) after profiling has at least two regions (4a, 6a, 13a) with differently formed cross sections.

An apparatus (1) for forming bristle bundles (2) is provided. The apparatus (1) includes at least one bundle pocket (3), intended to receive a bristle bundle (2) to be formed. The bundle pocket (3) has at least one piercing (6) in the side. A displacement device (7) on the apparatus (1) can be introduced into the bundle pocket (3) through this piercing (6) to create a clearance (29) inside a bristle bundle (2) to be formed. The bundle pocket (3) and the bristle bundle (2) located therein are heated by the heating device (4) in the apparatus (1) to fix the shape of the bristle bundle (2) defined by the bundle pocket (3) and the displacement device (7).

A monofilament bristle (211) including: a body portion (215); a tip portion (217) extending from the body portion (215) and comprising a multi-lobed transverse cross-section (221), the monofilament bristle (211) extending along a longitudinal axis (219); co-extruded first and second components, the first component being a first color and forming a first lobe (223a) of the multi-lobed transverse cross-section (221), the second component being a second color, which is different from the first color, and forming a second lobe (223b) of the multi-lobed transverse cross-section (221); and each of the first and second components forming a longitudinal section of the body portion (215), with an interface between the first and second components extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis (219).

Applicator for applying a cosmetic composition to the eyelashes or eyebrows, including a core, at least one element attached to the core, each element including a central part fitted onto the core and at least one application member carried by the central part, this application member comprising a strand of material comprising at least one elbow that defines a composition collection surface.

A cleaning device includes a base member extending with a first distal end and a first proximal end. The first proximal end is at an angle relative to the first distal end. A support member extends between a second distal end and a second proximal end. At least one support flange couples the base member and the support member. An extension member extends from the second distal end. At least one teeth member comprises a contact surface and an attachment surface. The attachment surface is formed with an inner channel, and the inner channel is coupled with one of the first distal and proximal ends. The contact surface has outer flanges with an outer channel formed therein. The contact surface is adapted to come in contact with a cleaning surface such that the outer flanges penetrate the cleaning surface to dislodge and collect debris.

This method of manufacturing a brush 1 comprises: a first step of forming a support body 10 in which through holes 14 are formed; and a second step of inserting a brush bristle 20 in a bent state into each through hole 14 from one side of the through hole 14 to cause a looped bristle to project from the through hole 14 on the other side.

A grill cleaner generally includes a wire brush formed by a plurality of wire loops extending from a brush block. The wire loops may include a solid core wire or a wire cable/cord (e.g., a plurality of wound wire strands). In one embodiment, the wire loops may be formed as individual wire loops having the ends secured in sleeves (e.g., crimped). The grill cleaner also include one or more handles to allow a user to urge the wire loops across a grate of a grill such that movement of the wire loops across the grate dislodges debris (e.g., food particles) adhered to a surface of the grate.

The device is for cleaning the inner surface of a pipe. The device has a spindle arranged to be rotated and having a front end and a rear end between which a plurality of elastic metal blades are attached both in the rotation direction of the spindle and in the direction perpendicular to the rotation direction to clean the inner surface of the pipe. The blades has a shape that is curved at at least two points such that they curve at least once towards the circumferential direction of the spindle and at least once outwards from the circumferential direction of the spindle to prevent the device from getting stuck in uneven pipe systems.

A bristle support is formed on a head portion of the elongate base body, and bristles extend from the head portion at least substantially perpendicularly. A neck portion connects the base portion and the head portion. The elongated base body bends at a bend angle ? formed by the base portion longitudinal axis and a head portion orientation axis in the range of 7? to 17?. The bristle support has a deflection A in the range of 5% to 15% with reference to a length L of the base body. At least a portion of the bristles has a value ?.sub.x in the range from 0.1 to 10 MPa.
