Cosmetic applicator with special bristle
A cosmetic applicator with a bristle carrier (9), which merges into a stem (12), by way of which the bristle carrier (9) is connected to a handle (13), or into a coupling portion (11) for connecting the bristle carrier (9) to such a stem (12), wherein the bristle carrier (9) carries a multiplicity of in each case single-piece bristles (1) of length (L) and is distinguished in that the bristles (1) consist of two halves (2, 3), which are axially symmetrical relative to one another and are displaced relative to one another, and connected in one piece to one another, along their axis of symmetry (4), wherein each of the halves (2, 3) forms a planar region (6) of the bristle (1), said planar region being located in the displacement plane (5).
BACKCOMBING BRUSH
A backcombing brush for backcombing hair includes an array of bristles 4. Each bristle extends from a base to a free end and two lengths of bristle are provided. Shorter bristles 4a and the bottom of longer bristles 4b carry out backcombing, whilst the longer bristles smooth hair, or untangle knots/tangles in the hair to reduce the level of backcombing. The long bristles have a relatively wide first portion 5, towards the base of the bristle, and a relatively narrow second portion 6, towards the free end of the bristle. The bristles are arranged such that bristles in one row neither extend between adjacent bristles in an adjacent row nor partially occlude the space between bristles in an adjacent row.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement having a head with a bristle bearing surface. The oral care implement may include a central bristle tuft extending from a central portion of the bristle bearing surface, the central bristle tuft terminating in a domed distal surface. Furthermore, the oral care implement may include a plurality of perimetric bristle tufts extending from the bristle bearing surface and arranged to circumferentially surround the central bristle tuft. Each of the perimetric bristle tufts may have an inclined distal surface that slopes downward towards the central bristle tuft. The bristle bearing surface of the head may have a total surface area (TSA), and the toothbrush may include a tooth cleaning element field having X number of tooth cleaning elements that collectively occupy a total cleaning element area (TCEA) such that

DENTAL CLEANER DISCHARGE GUARD SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Rotating dental systems and related guards and methods are disclosed. In some instances a guard may be configured to prevent material from building up on at least a portion of the dental system. The guard may be configured to prevent materials from being discharged from the dental system. In some embodiments, the guard may also be configured to direct the flow of material along a portion of the dental system. Some guards within the scope of this disclosure comprise bristles.
HANDLE FOR A PERSONAL-CARE IMPLEMENT AND PERSONAL-CARE IMPLEMENT
A handle for a personal-care implement comprises a housing having an inner cavity, the housing having a proximal end closest to a head repeatably attachable to and detachable from the handle, and a distal end, the distal end being opposite the proximal end; a swivel-mounted connector-pressure-sensor unit unitarily made as one piece, the connector-pressure sensor unit comprising a connector extending through an opening at the proximal end of the housing, and a pivot lever accommodated within the inner cavity of the housing and extending towards the distal end of the housing, the pivot lever being attached to the housing via a pivot axis.
APPLICATOR FOR APPLYING A PRODUCT TO THE EYELASHES AND/OR EYEBROWS
An applicator for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, has a moulded applicator member. The applicator member has a core that extends along a longitudinal axis, teeth that narrow in front view in the direction of their free end and have at least one edge having a point of inflection.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement having a body that includes a head portion and a handle portion. At least one bristle is mounted to the head portion. The at least one bristle may include an oral care feature. The body may include a core component and a sheath component. The core component may include a structural feature that corresponds to or is representative of the oral care feature of the at least one bristle. The core component may be visible through the sheath component.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement having an arrangement of tooth cleaning elements thereon. The oral care implement may include a head extending from a proximal end to a distal end and comprising first and second peripheral sides. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from the head and are arranged in groups including a first peripheral grouping of tooth cleaning elements positioned adjacent the first peripheral side of the head and having first and second types of tooth cleaning elements, a distal grouping of tooth cleaning elements positioned adjacent the distal end of the head and having a third type of tooth cleaning element, and a proximal grouping of tooth cleaning elements positioned adjacent the proximal end of the head and having the third type of tooth cleaning element. The first, second, and third types of tooth cleaning elements are different in at least one more structural characteristics.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having a head with a plurality of cleaning elements coupled thereto and extending therefrom. In the exemplified embodiment, the cleaning elements have a plurality of bristle tufts each including a plurality of bristle filaments. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a first bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the outer filaments being taller than the inner filaments and a second bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the outer filaments being shorter than the inner filaments. In another aspect, the oral care implement may include a bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the inner filaments being either taller or shorter than the outer filaments, and whereby distal ends of the inner and outer filaments are angled relative to an axis of the bristle tuft.
