TOOTHBRUSH
Proposed is a toothbrush having pairs of bristles configured in a bundle, each of the pair of bristles being composed of a first bristle having a fine end portion and a second bristle having a flat end portion, thereby more efficiently removing food remnants that are stuck between teeth or remain on the surfaces of teeth, and efficiently removing food remnants stuck between teeth and dental braces even when the dental braces are installed on the teeth.
Simultaneous cleaning of multiple teeth
A method and an apparatus are disclosed for simultaneously cleaning multiple teeth, such as one or both dental arches. The Dental Cleaning Apparatus (DCA) includes a cleaning engine enclosed in a main housing, a fluid tube, and a mouthpiece. The cleaning engine includes a fluid circuit having a number of pumps and solenoid valves, and a programmable controller to control the solenoid valves and other operations. The fluid tube includes a number of separate tubes for injection and evacuation of cleaning fluid from the interior of mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is generally made from a flexible and supple material, such as silicone, and may have bristles of various shapes. The cleaning engine alternates the mouthpiece between a relaxation state and a contraction state to effectively scrub the surface of all enclosed teeth simultaneously. It may automatically learn and adjust the vacuum pressure needed for each user to optimize cleaning.
METHOD OF MAKING A UNITARY BRUSH HEAD AND UNITARY TOOTHBRUSH HEAD
A toothbrush comprised at least one unitary brush head having a base and at least one filament and extending therefrom and having a free end terminating with a tip, wherein the filament has a length of from 6.0 mm to 20.0 mm between the base and the free end, and wherein the unitary brush head is made from a plastic material that has a melt flow rate of not greater than about 30 g/10 min measured in accordance with ISO 1133.
Dental cleaner discharge guard systems and methods
Rotating dental systems and related guards and methods are disclosed. In some embodiments a guard is configured to prevent material from building up on at least a portion of the dental system. In some embodiments the guard is configured to prevent materials from being discharged from the dental system. In some embodiments, the guard is configured to direct the flow of material along a portion of the dental system. Some guards within the scope of this disclosure include bristles.
MASCARA COMB
A mascara comb allows a user to quickly apply mascara liquid to the eyelashes without forming clumps. On the upper surface of the mascara comb a plurality of protrusion elements are disposed so as to form a plurality of rhombus structures; the rhombus structures are configured so as to form a predetermined gap for applying the mascara liquid to the eyelashes while combing the eyelashes, wherein a diagonal line in the axial direction of the comb portion forms a rhombus longer than a diagonal line in the orthogonal direction orthogonal thereto; further, the rhombus structures function as a velocity adjustment mechanism for making the velocity with which the mascara liquid flows in the axial direction slower than the velocity with which the mascara liquid flows in the orthogonal direction; and the inside of the rhombus structures are a holding portion having a function of holding the mascara liquid.
Household brush or hygiene brush device
A household brush or hygiene brush device has at least one brush application region comprising at least one first bristle end zone and at least one second bristle end zone, wherein the second bristle end zone is implemented differing from the first bristle end zone.
Toothbrush
A toothbrush includes an elongate handle stem and a brush head which is connected to the handle stem. The brush head carries a bristle array which contains a plurality of bristle bundles which, in order to improve the cleaning effect, in particular in the interdental spaces, have a plurality of bristle bundles attached to an outer edge of the bristle array, which have a diameter of between 0.8 and 1.2 mm and/or are formed from microfilaments with a diameter of 4 to 6 mils, the usage end of which tapers to a tip.
Oral Care Implement and Monofilament Bristle for Use with the Same
A monofilament bristle including: a body portion; a tip portion extending from the body portion and comprising a multi-lobed transverse cross-section, the monofilament bristle extending along a longitudinal axis; co-extruded first and second components, the first component being a first color and forming a first lobe of the multi-lobed transverse cross-section, the second component being a second color, which is different from the first color, and forming a second lobe of the multi-lobed transverse cross-section; and each of the first and second components forming a longitudinal section of the body portion, with an interface between the first and second components extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis.
HEAD FOR AN ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT AND ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT
A head for an oral care implement has a longitudinal length extension extending between a proximal end and a distal end, an outer rim and an inner portion. The head comprises at least two tooth cleaning elements of a first type and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements of a second type, the tooth cleaning elements of the first type being arranged at the inner portion of the head, and the plurality of tooth cleaning elements of the second type being arranged at the outer rim of the head, thereby surrounding the tooth cleaning elements of the first type. The tooth cleaning elements of the first type are tufts of a first type comprising a plurality of filaments. The tufts of the first type are arranged substantially parallel to each other. Each tuft has a substantially rectangular or oval cross-sectional shape with a longer length extension from about 4 mm to about 8 mm and a shorter width extension from about 1.5 mm to about 2.5 mm, wherein the longer length extension defines an angle with respect to the longitudinal length extension of the head of about 25 to about 60.
METHODS OF PROVIDING A COSMETIC BRUSH
Example aspects of a method of providing a cosmetic brush for use in the application of cosmetics are disclosed. The method can comprise the steps of extruding a plurality of elongate brush bristles each having a triangular transverse cross section, such that each of said elongate brush bristles defines three substantially parallel edges along the length of each of said the bristles; and combining said plurality of said bristles to provide a brush head configured for the application of cosmetics.
