COSMETIC BRUSH UNIT
The invention relates to a cosmetic brush unit (1) comprising a bristle carrier (2) in the form of at least two twisted wires (3) holding a plurality of filaments (4) clamped so that each filament (4) forms outwardly extending bristles (4) constituting a brush, characterised in that the bristles (4) preferably have a diameter in the range 0.076 mm to 0.3556 mm and wherein the bristles (4) are divided into several preferably at least four bristle fingers (5) in the region of their free distal ends.
APPLICATOR DEVICE FOR APPLYING A PRODUCT OF THE FLUID OR PASTY TYPE TO KERATIN FIBRES
The present invention relates to an applicator device for applying a product of the fluid or pasty type to keratin fibres, comprising a central core (1) having an elongate shape which extends along a longitudinal axis XX, at least one row of elongate spikes (2) comprising a first end (20) embedded in the core and a second, free end (21). According to the invention, at least one of the spikes (2) is delimited by a first flat face (200) that is coincident with a longitudinal plane, known as the reference plane P, and by a second flat face (210) that forms an angle of between 10 and 180 with said first flat face, said at least one spike comprising a first region (22) that is embedded in the core (1) and has a substantially constant cross section in the form of a portion of a circle, and a second region (23) having a variable cross section that is situated substantially in the longitudinal continuation of said first region (22).
Oral Care Implement and Monofilament Bristle for Use with the Same
A monofilament bristle (211) including: a body portion (215); a tip portion (217) extending from the body portion (215) and comprising a multi-lobed transverse cross-section (221), the monofilament bristle (211) extending along a longitudinal axis (219); co-extruded first and second components, the first component being a first color and forming a first lobe (223a) of the multi-lobed transverse cross-section (221), the second component being a second color, which is different from the first color, and forming a second lobe (223b) of the multi-lobed transverse cross-section (221); and each of the first and second components forming a longitudinal section of the body portion (215), with an interface between the first and second components extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis (219).
Cosmetic applicator
Applicator for applying a cosmetic composition to the eyelashes or eyebrows, including a core, at least one element attached to the core, each element including a central part fitted onto the core and at least one application member carried by the central part, this application member comprising a strand of material comprising at least one elbow that defines a composition collection surface.
Cosmetic applicator
An applicator for applying a cosmetic composition to the eyelashes or eyebrows, including a core, at least one element attached to the core, each element comprising a central part fitted onto the core and at least one application member carried by the central part, this application member having a proximal half attached to the central part and a distal half extending outward from the proximal half, a composition collection surface being formed by a relief on the distal half that defines a concavity that is open radially toward the outside.
Molded mascara brush head with rake-like teeth
A cosmetic package is provided with an applicator brush head that has rake-like teeth extending from the core of the brush head. Each tooth has a flexible vertical post extending from the brush core to a horizontal beam. Several tines extend vertically from the beam to free ends. When the brush is drawn through a wiper in the product vial, the flexible vertical post allows the rake teeth to bend such that the tines pick up cosmetic product deposited at or near the core of the brush. As the brush head leaves the wiper, the rake-like teeth return to an upright position carrying the cosmetic product at or near the free ends of the tines.
Motorized Body Cleansing Apparatus
A motorized body cleansing apparatus includes a base plate detachably attachable to a support structure, rollers, a guide slide plate (GSP), a split cover plate, a motion transmission assembly, and a base member. The base plate includes guideways positioned on a front surface of the base plate for accommodating the rollers. Elongate guide projections extend from a rear surface of the GSP and slide on the rollers at the front surface of the base plate. The split cover plate secures the GSP to the base plate. The motion transmission assembly is positioned in a cavity of the base plate and is operably coupled to the GSP for moving the GSP upwards and downwards. The base member is detachably attached to a front surface of the GSP. The base member includes one or more cleansing members for cleansing a user's body part during the movement of the GSP upwards and downwards.
Toothbrush head and method of manufacturing
This disclosure provides a toothbrush head and a toothbrush with improved toothbrush bristle configuration comprising different types of bristle filaments in a specified arrangement. Disclosed are toothbrush heads comprising first tufts (5) comprising first bristles (6) and second tufts (7) comprising second bristles (8), wherein the second tufts (7) are positioned outermost closest to the distal end (3A) and outermost closest to the proximal end (3B) on the bristle surface (3), and/or outermost closest to the widthways opposite ends (3C, 3D) on the bristle surface (3), and wherein the second bristles (8) have a stem (19) that splits into split ends (21), and wherein the split ends (21) are chemically tapered. Also provided are toothbrushes comprising said toothbrush heads. The toothbrushes achieve excellent brushing performance, plaque removal from the gingival and subgingival margin and reach into the interproximal spaces. There are also disclosed methods of manufacturing these toothbrushes.
