POROUS SCAFFOLDS FOR ELECTROCHEMICALLY-CONTROLLED REVERSIBLE CAPTURE AND RELEASE OF ALKENES
In some embodiments, the present disclosure pertains to a method for capturing alkenes that includes: associating the alkenes with metal-organic frameworks, where the metal-organic frameworks includes one or more metals and one or more ligands coordinated with the one or more metals, and where the metal-organic frameworks are conductive; and oxidizing the metal-organic frameworks, where the oxidizing results in a capturing of the alkenes by the metal-organic frame-works. Additional embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to a system for capturing alkenes that includes: metal-organic frameworks, where the metal-organic frameworks include one or more metals and one or more ligands coordinated with the one or more metals, and where the metal-organic frameworks are conductive; and an alkene feed source associated with the metal-organic frameworks, where the alkene feed source is configured to deliver an alkene feed to the system.
Methods of removing carbonyl-containing organic compounds
Provided are methods of treating a mixture, such as a hydrocarbon mixture, that includes one or more C2-C4 carbonyl containing organic compounds. The methods may include contacting a hydrocarbon mixture with an aqueous liquid including an agent. The agent may reduce the amount of one or more C2-C4 carbonyl containing organic compounds in the mixture.

Nitrogen based hydrogen sulfide scavengers and method of use thereof
The present invention relates to a hydrogen sulphide scavenging additive composition for scavenging hydrogen sulphide including sulfur containing compounds and mercaptans, particularly for scavenging hydrogen sulfide in hydrocarbons, wherein the additive composition comprises substantially reduced amount of nitrogen based hydrogen sulfide scavengers, and is also required in substantially reduced amount, and wherein the additive composition scavenges the sulfur containing compounds not only at room temperature, but also at higher temperatures, and comprises at least a combination of: (A) at least one nitrogen based hydrogen sulfide scavenger; and (B) at least one aliphatic tertiary amine, wherein the nitrogen based hydrogen sulfide scavenger comprises triazine based hydrogen sulfide scavenger. In one embodiment, it also relates to a method for scavenging hydrogen sulfide in hydrocarbons, and in another embodiment it relates to a method of using an additive composition of the present invention for scavenging hydrogen sulfide in hydrocarbons. In yet another embodiment, it relates to a composition comprising (i) a hydrocarbon and (ii) a hydrogen sulfide scavenging additive composition for scavenging hydrogen sulfide in hydrocarbons.

ADVANCED OXIDATIVE COUPLING OF METHANE
The present disclosure provides a method for generating higher hydrocarbon(s) from a stream comprising compounds with two or more carbon atoms (C.sub.2+), comprising introducing methane and an oxidant (e.g., O.sub.2) into an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) reactor that has been retrofitted into a system comprising an ethylene-to-liquids (ETL) reactor. The OCM reactor reacts the methane with the oxidant to generate a first product stream comprising the C.sub.2+ compounds. The first product stream can then be directed to a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit that recovers at least a portion of the C.sub.2+ compounds from the first product stream to yield a second product stream comprising the at least the portion of the C.sub.2+ compounds. The second product stream can then be directed to the ETL reactor. The higher hydrocarbon(s) can then be generated from the at least the portion of the C.sub.2+ compounds in the ETL reactor.
