An apparatus for manufacturing an individual brush unit constituting a rotary brush by being stacked in multiple layers, includes an anvil having an insertion hole through which a filament group passes, a filament feeding unit which feeds the filament group from a feeder including a ring cutter on a tip and holds the filament group while a predetermined amount of the filament group protrudes outward from the insertion hole of the anvil, and an ultrasonic welder including a horn having a horn tip portion which pushes and radially expands a protruding tip of the filament group and welds a central part of the expanded filament group, to form the individual brush unit. A core of the welded central part is sandwiched between the ring cutter and the horn tip portion and is cut out, to simultaneously form a shaft hole and separate the individual brush unit from the filament group.

The invention relates to method of manufacturing a recess wall lined with bristles for a mouthpiece for simultaneously brushing at a plurality of dental positions, and to a recess wall and mouthpiece manufactured according to the method. In a providing step, an elongate, continuous, bristled sheet part having a first side lined with a plurality of bristles is provided. The elongate sheet part defines a length axis extending parallel to the sheet part and, viewed transverse to the length axis, a cross-sectional shape. The sheet part obtained in the providing step has an initial condition in which the cross-sectional shape has an initial shape, and the length axis is arch-shaped. In a transforming step, the sheet part of the providing step is transformed from the initial condition to a final condition to provide the recess wall. In the final condition the cross-sectional shape has a final U-shape, the length axis is arch shaped, and the first side is a concave inner side of the final U-shape. The first side is in the final condition more concave than in the initial condition.

A method of manufacturing a toothbrush includes steps of providing a carrier having at least a first through hole extending from a front side to a backside of the carrier and at least a first wall element integral with the carrier and extending from the back side in a vicinity of the through hole; introducing a first cleaning element into the first through hole such that an end portion of the first cleaning element is exposed on the backside of the carrier; treating the end portion of the first cleaning element such that it deforms and becomes wider than the first through hole; and deforming the first wall element until it at least partially extends over the deformed end portion of the first cleaning element such that the first cleaning element is effectively retained in its axial position. The invention relates to a brush including a brush head body which includes a recess through which a bundle of bristles passes, the securing-side end of which is provided by means of a melt process with a thickened portion for securing the bundle of bristles to the brush head body, wherein the brush head body forms a collar which extends up to the thickened portion and circumferentially surrounds the bundle of bristles and which is provided at a distance from a brush head body surface projected over by the bundle of bristles at the use side, and is bonded to the thickened portion by means of a melting process.

AUTOMATIC HANDLE ASSEMBLY SYSTEM FOR PAINT BRUSH
An automatic handle assembly system for a paint brush, including a feeding device, a conveying device, a handle pushing device, a pneumatic system, and a control system. The feeding device is used for transporting a glue-filled paint brush head to an entrance of the conveying device. The conveying device is used for realizing transportation, pressing and precise positioning of the paint brush head. The handle pushing device is used for pushing a paint brush handle to precisely insert into the paint brush head. The feeding device, the conveying device, and the handle pushing device are all connected to the pneumatic system and the control system.
