FLUORINATED ORGANIC COMPOUND PRODUCTION METHOD
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a fluorinated organic compound, whereby an iodosylbenzene derivative can be easily separated and recovered. The above object can be achieved by a method for producing a fluorinated organic compound, comprising step A of fluorinating an organic compound (1) by reaction with a fluorine source (3) in the presence of a hypervalent iodine aromatic ring compound (2a), or in the presence of an iodine aromatic ring compound (2b) and an oxidant (2bo); wherein the fluorine source (3) is a fluorine source (3a) represented by formula: MF.sub.n, wherein M is H, a metal of Group 1 of the periodic table, or a metal of Group 2 of the periodic table; and n is 1 or 2; and step B of separating the iodine aromatic ring compound from a reaction liquid after step A is started.

Method for producing reaction product
A method for producing a reaction product, with which the reaction product is obtained from a starting material through a particular organic synthesis reaction, the method includes (a) a step of setting a target wavelength to a peak wavelength of a reaction region involved in the organic synthesis reaction in an infrared absorption spectrum of the starting material; (b) a step of preparing an infrared heater that emits an infrared ray having a peak at the target wavelength from a structure constituted by a metal pattern, a dielectric layer, and a metal substrate stacked in this order from an outer side toward an inner side; and (c) a step of obtaining the reaction product by allowing the organic synthesis reaction to proceed while the infrared ray having a peak at the target wavelength is being applied to the starting material from the infrared heater.

Process for providing hydrogen chloride for chemical reactions
The invention relates to an improved process for making available the coproduct hydrogen chloride obtained in the preparation of an isocyanate by phosgenation of the corresponding amine for a desired subsequent use (i.e. a chemical reaction), in which part of the total hydrogen chloride obtained is isolated in gaseous form at a pressure which is higher than the pressure desired for the subsequent use of the hydrogen chloride by lowering the pressure of the crude product from the phosgenation and the remaining part of the total hydrogen chloride obtained is separated off at a pressure lower than that desired for the subsequent use from the liquid crude product from the phosgenation remaining after lowering of the pressure and is subsequently compressed to a pressure which is higher than that desired for the subsequent use, and in which the two hydrogen chloride streams obtained in this way are, preferably together after having been combined, purified so as to give a purified hydrogen chloride at a pressure which is higher than the pressure desired for the subsequent use.
