A unique multiple work surface pullout unit that increases space utilization by providing multiple work surfaces for performance of multiple tasks marginally within the space allocated for one. Floors and structural walls, in addition to the framing elements of existing cabinets and counters may provide significant structural support/support frame function for a multiple work surface pullout unit. The multiple work surface pullout unit comprises at least two, generally rectangular in shape, work surfaces of appropriate dimension for the intended use of each work surface; a pair of primary slides and a pair of secondary slides, and means of connecting pairs of slides, identified herein as a pair of rails. Compact size is achieved in part by limiting load-bearing service to the primary slides. Said comprising components are configured and connected such that the work surfaces can move either together as a unit or independently and in either the same or opposite direction. Said pullout unit can be undocked (moved from storage area in the frame) to a useful exposure for a designated task and work surfaces in said pullout unit can be moved independently into and out of the work position for each work surface. Good design will accommodate simultaneous use of work surfaces.

An extendable table includes a frame and a fixed board mounted on frame. The frame has two extension tubes arranged in parallel. The extension tube has an outer tube receiving two inner tubes therein. A gear wheel is provided on the outer tube and a gear rack is provided on each of the two inner tubes for engaging with the gear wheel, so that the two inner tubes move synchronously. The inner tube has an outer end thereof provided with a moving component. Two movable boards each have one side connected to the moving component and an opposite end laid on the fixed board. The movable boards may be drawn together to form a small tabletop or pulled apart to form, together with the fixed board, an extended tabletop. The inner tubes each have a lifting member that lifts the movable board for easy expanding/retracting operation.

A tray table apparatus including a furniture support structure having a storage compartment, a tray table support assembly and a tray table coupled to the tray table. The tray table and the tray table support assembly are alterable between a first configuration having a first stowed position and a first deployed state and a second configuration having a second stowed position and a second deployed state. In the first and second stowed positions, the tray table and tray table support assembly are at least partially disposed within the storage compartment. In the first deployed state, the tray table is outside of the storage compartment and extends from a first side of the furniture support structure. In the second deployed state, the tray table is outside of the storage compartment and extends from a second side of the furniture support structure.

A motorized expandable table includes a vertical column upperly supporting a table top. In a first configuration the table top is defined only by main portions and in a second configuration only by the main portions and by additional portions, which include outer additional portions and a central additional portion. The additional portions are entirely covered by and hidden below the main portions in the first configuration, said and the outer additional portions are disposed radially about a support associated with the column and present an inclination different from the adjacent outer additional portions. A driving system is associated with the main portions, the support, the outer additional portions and the central additional portion for their movement, to enable the table to pass between the first and the second configuration. An electronic control and management is provided for the driving system.

The over bed caddy is a transportable table that is adapted for use with a person. The over bed caddy is adapted for use with a person in a reclined or upright position. The over bed caddy provides one or more horizontal surfaces for use by the person in the reclined position on a reclining surface. The over bed caddy is adjustable in height. The over bed caddy is mounted on a rolling frame. The over bed caddy provides lighting and electric power for use at the one or more horizontal surfaces. The over bed caddy comprises a tray assembly, a personal storage unit, a telescopic stanchion, and an H assembly. The H assembly is attached to the telescopic stanchion, which is attached to the tray assembly. The personal storage unit is adapted to receive domestic items and devices.

A standalone merchandise display and storage table on which retail merchandise is displayed includes one or more shelf subassemblies, which include a counter and a pull-out shelf that telescopes outwardly to provide additional display and storage space without interfering with merchandise stored on counters from which the pull-out shelves extends. Shelf subassemblies can be used in multiple levels, and the pull-out shelves can be extended to a tilted orientation so as not to interfere with merchandise displayed on a different level. The pull-out shelves can be retained when closed and when deployed in a fully extended, tilted position, as well as in intermediate positions. A cabinet supports a lower counter and a central compartment supports and upper counter thereabove. Extendable panels above the upper counter can be deployed for extra display and storage space or can be retracted for displaying advertising media.

A stowable sliding desk has a fixed portion and a moveable portion that is coupled to the fixed portion. The moveable portion is slidable with respect to the fixed portion and expandable in a direction perpendicular to the length of the fixed portion. The moveable portion has a fixed leaf and a hinged leaf coupled thereto that either overlays the fixed leaf or is abutting and coplanar to the fixed leaf. A hidden leaf is slidable to extend the useable area of the moveable portion when the hinged leaf is coplanar to the fixed leaf.
