The chair connector is adapted to allow the frame and the chair to pivot relative each other about a vertical axis. The disclosure also provides a computer gaming unit and a method of making such a computer gaming unit.

A serving apparatus is provided to minimise risk of injurious events in a hospital or care setting. The serving apparatus comprises, a serving member having a serving platform; a rotation mechanism in rotatable communication with the serving member; a stand in communication with the rotation mechanism, the stand having a connecting portion; said connecting portion being arranged to reversibly couple the stand to an item of furniture; wherein the rotation mechanism is arranged to provide reciprocal rotation of the serving member between a stowed position and a serving position. A modular furniture construction set comprising multiple pieces that can be assembled in multiple ways to form temporary but stable forms that can be used for a variety of uses such as furniture, play structures, work surfaces, room partitions etc. With suitable dimensions and materials, it is conceivable that the present invention can be used to construct temporary or permanent housing. In one embodiment, an improved combination foldable table and seats system provides a mechanism for automatically raising the combination foldable table and seats system to a ceiling before automatically folding the legs of the table to which foldable seats are attached. In this manner, the combination foldable table and seats system can be folded, stored and again lowered to the ground without the need for a user to lift or move furniture and without the need for extra storage space.

A furniture device is disclosed comprising six individual pieces that interconnect to form a cube. The retention of the span at the elevated region of the post arises because of the complementary divergence, which restricts relative movement of the span relative to the post to only allow lifting of the at least one span relative to the at least one post and prevent the span from moving sideways relative to the post at an elevation of the elevated region and prevent the span from being lowered further along the post past the elevated region.
