A handle is disposed between the first brace member and the second brace member and is configured to assist in manipulating the pivot members of the first and second brace members between the extended position and the collapsed position.

Present invention teaches a simple and effective folding and locking mechanism for furniture where a core rod can be fitted into a notch groove on a bracket and be locked in place, to keep the leg structure stably and securely set. When the furniture is to be collapsed down for easy storage, a pressure is applied to the push tab of an L-rod on the bracket, releasing the core rod from the notch groove, and the two bars will pull the core rod away, allowing the leg structure to be folded down.
