Swing Stool Arm
A swing stool arm for use in a swing stool has a horizontal top flange, a horizontal bottom flange, a vertical end flange at a proximal end of the arm, a web extending down from the top flange and up from the bottom flange, and a vertical fillet at the proximal end of the arm. The vertical fillet joins the vertical end flange to the web. The vertical fillet has an open cavity so that the swing stool arm can be made from a cast molten aluminum alloy without forming shrinkage cavities.
ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT BRACKET FOR SELF-LEVELING DEVICE
An adjustable support bracket assembly that includes a first section having a first inner support bracket having a stem and flange receiving region formed therein; a center support section formed integrally with the first inner support bracket that further includes a first locking edge opposite the a first inner support bracket; and a first outer support bracket adapted to be attached to the first inner support bracket that also includes a stem and flange receiving region formed therein; and a second section, detachably connected to the first section that includes a second inner support bracket, having a stem and flange receiving region formed therein; a center support section formed integrally with the second inner support bracket that further includes a second locking edge formed thereon opposite the second inner support bracket; and a second outer support bracket adapted to be attached to the second inner support bracket that also includes a stem and flange receiving region formed therein.
Self-stabilizing system and method for long table
An integral system for stabilizing a long table on an uneven surface. One version includes two spaced supports with each of the supports comprising a vertical member. One horizontal platform attaches to an upper portion of one of the supports and an underside of the table top and a second horizontal platform affixed to a post and attached to the underside of the table top. The post is insertable into the vertical member of the other support and movably joined at a first end thereto such that the post may move side-to-side, in a rocking manner relative to the vertical member stabilizing the table. Another version includes a table having two spaced supports each with a horizontal member and a stabilizing member configured to slip over one horizontal member and movably connect thereto. When attached, the stabilizing member may rock about the connection point with the horizontal member.
Quick Assembly Desk
A desk has legs at or near opposite lateral sides of the desk, feet, each mounted to a lower end of one of the legs and projecting from the leg to which it is mounted in at least a forward or rearward direction, a profile extending from one of the legs to the opposite one of the legs and mounted to upper end portions of the legs; and a desktop panel supported by the profile. The legs are coupled to the profile by twist lock connections. The twist lock connections are each locked or lockable against axial dislodgement by twisting of at least an end part of the leg relative to the profile about a center line of the leg. The profile projects from the legs in the rearward direction more than in the forward direction. A rearwardly projecting portion of the profile supporting the panel from below.
JOINT WITH CURVED TENON
A joint for furniture includes furniture piece that has a first hole that extends through a surface of the furniture piece and out the furniture piece, and that has a second hole with an opening in the furniture piece. A leg is fitted to the furniture piece. The leg has a hole. A curved tenon piece includes a head. The curved tenon piece is curved sufficiently to allow the curved tenon to enter the first hole through the surface of the furniture piece, to exit the first hole, to extend through the hole in the leg and to enter into the second hole so that the head leg is held snugly to the furniture piece by the curved tenon piece.
FURNITURE WITH STRUCTURAL SUPPORT
A type of furniture with structural support, mainly includes: a first base and a second base connected to said first base, wherein the first base has a first frame having a first opening, a first connecting portion having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a plurality of first connectors, the first connecting portion and the first frame being separately configured and connected through the first connectors; the second base has second frame having a second opening, a second connecting portion, having an inner surface and an outer surface, the first and second connecting portions are connected through an assembly, and a plurality of second connecters, the second connecting portion and the second frame being separately configured and connected through the second connecters.
Adjustable bracket
An apparatus may comprise a plate, an arm, and an arm fastener. The plate comprises: a plate edge, an arm mounting region, and surface mounting region(s). The surface mounting region(s) is configured to affix the plate to a surface with the plate edge facing a surface terminus of the surface. The arm comprises a leg mounting region. The arm fastener is configured to adjustably hold the arm to the arm mounting region with the leg mounting region extending beyond the plate edge.
Joint assembly for piece of furniture and piece of furniture
A joint assembly includes a structural body having a key which projects cantilevered from an abutment surface. The key includes a stem with a first stem portion having a reduced transverse encumbrance, and a second stem portion from which fins project and define locking surfaces. A seat body includes an abutment counter-surface facing the abutment surface. A seat is formed by opening from the abutment counter-surface, which delimits a key entry slot. A first seat portion proximate the entry slot allows insertion of the key if the fins are aligned with the entry slot. A second seat portion internal and opposite the entry slot widens to allow free rotation of the key. The seat body forms locking counter-surfaces having an inclined plane portion moving away from the entry slot so that key rotation brings the abutment surface in force-contact against the abutment counter-surface, creating a firm frictional fit.
