The end table further includes a door carried by the first side panel for sliding movement between a stowed position and an open position and for rotational movement between the open position and a closed position in which the door closes an opening laterally between front ends of the first and second side panels. The first side panel, the second side panel, the rear panel, the bottom panel, the top panel and the door cooperate to define an enclosed area for the pet.

A furniture joinery includes a slide rail having a plurality of grooves or slides, a trapezoidal shaped slide block having the other of the plurality of grooves or slides, and a furniture support. One of the slide rail or the furniture support includes at least one tenon extending therefrom. The other of the slide rail or the furniture support includes an aperture which receives the at least one tenon. The at least one tenon includes at least one of a notch or a rib and the aperture includes the other of the notch or rib. The aperture is sized to allow movement of the tenon into the aperture and movement of one of the notch or rib toward the other of the notch or rib when the slide block is connected to the furniture support.

A table comprising a table base and a tabletop is disclosed. The table base comprises a top surface comprising one or more removable adhesives. The one or more removable adhesives adhere strongly when a force is applied in a horizontal direction and weakly when a force is supplied in a vertical direction. This prevents horizontal movement but allows vertical movement when a vertical force above an adhesion threshold is applied. The tabletop comprises a usable first side and a usable second side alternately mounted to the table base by means of the removable adhesives.
