A table including a frame having a leg portion, a tabletop support portion, and a tabletop positioned on the tabletop support portion. The tabletop has one pair of opposed side structures, and each of the opposed structures has a first bent portion extending downward. Also, each of the opposed side structures is further bent greater than 90 degrees from the orientation of the tabletop so as to surround and partially envelop the tabletop support portion. The table can also include a side panel that is stowable in the leg portion. The side panel can selectively be removed from the leg portion and placed onto the tabletop by a user to function as a temporary partition.

A rapidly assembled tabletop support includes cross members and a stringer perpendicular to the cross members. There are locking mechanisms on the cross member, and steps and necks corresponding to the steps on the stringer. By pushing the stringer to move relative to the cross member, the stringer and its steps are closely matched with a tube wall of the cross member, and the locking mechanism is engaged into the neck on the stringer, realizing rapid engagement between the cross member and the stringer. A method may include affixing a plurality of legs to an underside of a tabletop, and configuring the legs to be movable, bi-directionally, between an unfolded position and a folded position via multiple folding mechanisms. Installing each of the folding mechanisms may include affixing a central support bar to the underside of the tabletop via a hinged bracket, and securing a central portion of a transverse support bar assembly against the central support bar such that the central portion is configured to slide along the central support bar. A method may also include attaching one end of a first side support bar to the central portion, and another end to one of the legs, and attaching one end a second side support bar to the central portion, and another end to another one of the legs.

Methods for producing a folding table with increased seating space are provided. An improved computer stand is an elevated computer support surface that allows users to comfortably stand, if desired, while taking up much less space than conventional computer desks. Fabricated of a durable wood material with a strong, metal-based support stem, this product would be adjustable to heights ranging from forty-two to sixty-two inches (35″-62″), and would feature a large surface width of thirty inches (30″). The improved computer stand would have two (2) tiers. The top section would be a flat rectangular piece that could easily support a laptop or computer monitor. The second tier, which would be tucked underneath the top space, would be hinge connected and adjustable in height. A footrest, attached at the base of the support stem, would offer a height adjustable place to relax the feet should one choose to sit on a tall stool or chair while working.

A table frame for a table has a first column and a second column for supporting a table top, a cross member of hollow profile construction by which the first column and the second column are interconnected with each other and a first cantilever support mounted on the top end of the first column and a second cantilever support mounted on the top end of the second column. The first and the second column each have two projections at respective top ends thereof. The cross member, at each end section thereof, has a pair of oblong holes disposed on its lower side and through which the two projections of the respective column extend into the cross member. Each cantilever support has a first and a second flange which are arranged spaced-apart from one another, each of the flanges abutting the cross member on a lateral side portion thereof.

A table is disclosed. The table comprises a table base and tabletop. The table base comprises a top surface with a replaceable adhesive layer attached. The tabletop comprises a first usable side and a second usable side, the first usable side and the second usable side being alternately attached to the replaceable adhesive layer once the adhesive is cut, removed, and replaced. The top surface further comprises a rounded edge that acts to guide the entry of an adhesive cutting wire. The replaceable adhesive layer comprises embedded wire guides that define a cutting zone substantially the width of the cutting wire through the adhesive. The embedded wire guides restrict the cutting wire to the cutting zone while the adhesive is being cut, thereby allowing the first usable side and the second usable side to be alternately attached to the adhesive layer.

A frame for sit-stand-tables comprising a longitudinal member (3), two height-adjustable legs (6, 7) with at least two telescopic profiles, namely an outer and an inner profile, and with a driving mechanism, driven by a motor unit (39), comprising an electric motor (46) and a gear. According to the invention the motor unit (39) is arranged in the longitudinal member (3) and connected to the driving mechanism in the height-adjustable legs (6, 7). Thus, a frame with a simplified construction is achieved. The construction of the legs (6, 7) can be simplified and at the same time the dimensions can be reduced, as it is not necessary to take the building-in of a motor into the legs into consideration. As both legs (6, 7) are driven by a joint motor unit (39), the electric control can also be simplified as it will not have to drive the two legs synchronously.
