Table top and skirt with foldable legs
A foldable table and table legs comprises a tabletop comprising a plurality of tabletop sections each of which are interconnected by a hinge mechanism allowing the tabletop fold into a small, compact package. Detachable and foldable legs are configured for coupling to a table skirt comprising four segments which fold down from a storage pocket on the underside of the tabletop. The foldable legs interconnect with the table skirt once it is folded down from its storage position. The tabletop and foldable legs may all be folded into a compact, portable and packable configuration.
Dynamic furniture items with interchangeable panels
This application describes a unique design and a method for designing furniture items that incorporate removable panels to either decorate or alter the use of a standard furniture item. The proposed furniture items take the form of standard furniture items but have recessed areas or cavities incorporated into different portions of the structure. These cavities correspond to and fit different panels which display artwork or different utility elements. These panels can be interchanged between different furniture items of the similar design.
Workstation with moveable table portion
A workstation has two work surfaces that have interfaceable complementary concave and convex edges, and which are maintained in the same horizontal plane by moveable arms connecting the undersides of the two work surfaces. The moveable arms are operable to move one of the work surfaces in the horizontal plane both arcuately along the complementary edges and laterally toward and away from the other work surface. The work surface that moves relative to the other may support a keyboard or other computer input device, while the other work surface may support one or more computer monitors. The workstation is useful for any user having the need or desire for a multi-monitor configuration.
Expandable table
An expandable table comprises first and second table surfaces connected by a first hinge at their adjoining short sides. First and second legs are fixed to an underside of the first table surface to support the first table surface. A third leg is fixed to an end of a slidable bar or mechanism wherein the slidable bar or mechanism is installed on an underside of the first table surface, wherein the slidable bar or mechanism is configured to be slid out from under the first table surface wherein the third leg provides support for the second table surface when the second table surface is unfolded and wherein the slidable bar or mechanism is configured to be slid under the first table surface wherein the third leg rests adjacent to the first leg when the second table surface is folded to lie on top of the first table surface.
RETRACTABLE SUPPORT SURFACE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A support surface assembly includes a housing including a chamber and an opening. The support surface assembly also includes a support surface retractably coupled to the housing between a deployed position and a stored position. The support surface includes a plurality of slats pivotally coupled together, wherein each slat comprises a first end opening and an opposing second end opening. The support surface assembly also includes a plurality of rods associated with a corresponding slat of the plurality of slats. Each rod is positioned entirely within the first end opening of a first slat in the stored position and each rod is positioned partially within the second end opening of an adjacent second slat in the deployed position.
FABRIC HINGE
A flexible hinge created by a section of fabric material disposed between upper and lower retention pieces, for creating a hinge from a fabric member.
T-Link Hinge Mechanism
A T-link hinge for hingeably connecting first and second members comprises a link portion having a T-shaped cross-section including a top region and a bottom region, wherein the top region has a width greater than a width of the bottom region. The link portion comprises first and second thru holes formed in the bottom region of the link portion adjacent each the respective first and second ends of the link portion. Each of the first and second members to which the link portion is to be mounted includes thru holes. In an assembled configuration of the link portion and the first and second members, the thru holes formed on the first and second members axially align with the pair of thru holes in the link portion and are connected by first and second pins.
Tabletop
The invention relates to a tabletop (6) which, when viewed from above, is a polygon with at least four corners and at least four table edges, wherein two straight lines (7), which extend along two table edges (1, 2), form an angle of 30 relative to each other, two straight lines (8), which run along two table edges (2, 3), form an angle of 60 relative to each other, and two table edges (1, 3) form an angle of 90 relative to each other. Tabletop (6) proposed by the present invention or a corresponding table may on the one hand be used individually, but on the other hand, also offers great flexibility with regard to the arrangement in groups of tables different in number.
Frame type workstation configurations
A furniture assembly comprising a first frame structure having front and rear portions and including at least a first leg member and a substantially horizontal first rail member supported by the at least a first leg member where the first rail member has a first length dimension, a substantially horizontal second rail member supported by the at least a second leg member spaced apart from the first rail member wherein an assembly space includes the space between the first and second rail members, a front portion of the assembly space adjacent the front portion of the first frame structure and a rear portion of the assembly space adjacent the rear portion of the first frame structure, a first furniture sub-assembly having first and second ends, having a first depth dimension and supported within the assembly space by the first and second rail members and a second furniture sub-assembly having first and second ends, a second depth dimension and supported within the assembly space by the first rail member and a rail member of another frame structure, wherein the combined first and second depth dimensions are less than the first length dimension.
Keyed rail and support surface for saw horse
A support system includes a base have a plurality of legs depending from a support portion. The support portion includes at least one slot formed therein, wherein a portion of a support member is received in the slot. A deck of the support system is configured to slidably engage a top portion of the support member. The support member may include a male key portion formed on a first end and female key portion formed on second end, the female key portion of one support member configured to receive the male key portion of another support member. A groove formed in each of the deck and the clamp is configured to receive the track portion therein, wherein the clamp can be slid along the support member via the track. The deck may comprise a plurality of panels coupled to each other using a coupling member.
