A transparent sheet having connection members. The transparent laminate includes an outer sheet, an inner sheet and a central region. The transparent laminate defines a cavity. The monolithic sheet will comprise of at least one cavity and access opening cut into and/or through the monolithic sheet. Connection members are positionable within the cavity of the transparent sheet. A cover may be incorporated into the transparent sheet to form the cavity and or the access opening. Additionally, an obscuring layer may be incorporated to obscure at least portions of the cavity. Interfaces may be coupled to the connection members and secured to the transparent sheet.

A cabinet door includes a transparent cover plate, an outer frame secured with the transparent cover plate, and an inner frame arranged inside the outer frame and supporting the transparent cover plate that includes a reflecting region coated with a reflective coating and a light transmitting region surrounding the reflecting region; the light transmitting region includes a plurality of light transmitting edges annularly arranged around the reflecting region, and a light transmitting corner is formed between any two adjacent light transmitting edges. The substrate exhibits a luminosity L* of less than 10, a haze of less than 30% and a light transmission T.sub.L of less than 10%. The item of equipment also includes at least one heating element and at least one interface for communication with at least one element of the worktop and/or with at least one external element for wireless communication. The item of equipment is devoid of light source(s).

An item of equipment includes at least one worktop formed of at least one substrate made of monolithic glass material with a surface area of greater than 0.7 m.sup.2. The substrate exhibits a luminosity L* of less than 10, a haze of less than 30% and a light transmission T.sub.L of less than 10%. The item of equipment also includes at least one heating element and at least one interface for communication with at least one element of the worktop and/or with at least one external element for wireless communication. The item of equipment is devoid of light source(s).

A desk with a slidable drawer assembly is disclosed herein. The desk includes at least one pair of spaced-apart leg members; a desk tabletop supported on the leg members, the desk tabletop having a top surface and a bottom surface oppositely disposed relative to the top surface; at least one suspended rail member, the at least one suspended rail member supported by the leg members, the at least one suspended rail member being spaced apart from the bottom surface of the desk tabletop by a gap; and a drawer assembly adjustably supported on the at least one suspended rail member, the drawer assembly comprising a support carriage with one or more slidable drawer members, the support carriage configured to be slidably displaced on the at least one suspended rail member so as to enable a user to selectively adjust a position of the drawer assembly of the desk.

A light-emitting desk or stool, having a frame and a support portion mounted on the frame; the support portion is a hollowed light-emitting box having a mounting seat and a transparent cover mounted on the mounting seat; a cavity is formed between the mounting seat and the transparent cover; light-emitting bodies are provided within the cavity. Lights emitted by the light-emitting bodies can illuminate through the transparent cover to provide lighting effect. Also, the lights emitted by the light-emitting bodies can pass through hollowed portions provided on the mounting seat, thereby projecting a pattern defined by the hollowed portions to the external environment, and hence enhancing the lighting effect as well as providing aesthetic effect. The pattern defined by the hollowed portions can be flexibly designed according to personal preference or practical need.
