Retractable screen-and-keyboard assembly for tables

Retractable screen (1) and keyboard (2) assembly for tables, comprising a supporting structure provided with a frame (3) defining a housing (4), and with a supporting frame (5) on the table, the screen (1) being able to rotate from a position in which it is stowed inside the housing (4) and flush with the supporting frame (5) to an elevated use position, a platform (6) arranged in the housing (4) on which the keyboard (2) rests, means for guiding (G) the platform (6) vertically from a lower position which leaves space for the stowed screen (1) and an upper use position, and further comprising a base (7) for the screen (1) which can rotate about a fixed axis () in relation to said frame (3), the screen (1) being mounted on said base (7), the screen (1) and base (7) assembly being able to rotate about said axis () from the stowed position to the use position.

DISPLAY POSITIONING APPARATUS AND METHOD

Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.

Cam balance mechanism systems and methods

Embodiments include a balance mechanism having a first cam and a second cam configured to convert a variable force exerted by the energy storage member into a substantially constant force applied to a mounting portion. The balance mechanism may be useful for balancing forces such that a user can set the height of an electronic display and/or other equipment attached to the balance mechanism at a number of heights within the range of travel allowed by the mechanism. Lift mechanisms, display positioning apparatuses, and height adjustable desks incorporating a multi-cam balance mechanism are also provided. A method of positioning a display is also provided.

Pop-up display

An apparatus drives and guides movement of a display assembly that includes a display unit. At least one track extends along at least one side of the display assembly and defines a path along which the display assembly is driven. A plurality of pins extend from the display assembly to the at least one track. At least one constant force spring has at one end a coiled part that is rotatably coupled to the display assembly, and an opposing end fastened to a fixed mounting location, and an uncoiled part extending between the coiled part and the opposing end. The at least one constant force spring is configured to drive the display assembly from a lowered position to a raised position while the plurality of pins travels along the at least one track and guide movement of the display assembly.
