DISPLAY POSITIONING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.
User Console System for Robotic Surgery
A user console for controlling a remote surgical robotic instrument may include an adjustable ergonomic seat assembly comprising a seat pan, where the seat assembly is configurable between a seated configuration and an elevated configuration, and where the seat pan has a higher anteverted position in the elevated configuration than in the seated configuration. The user console may further include a display configured to receive real time surgical information, and one or more controls for remotely controlling the robotic instrument. The display and/or the one or more controls may have multiple positions and change position automatically according to a seating profile associated with at least one user.
USER ARM SUPPORT FOR USE IN A ROBOTIC SURGICAL SYSTEM
A user system for a robotic surgical system, the user system including a handheld groundless user interface device configured to control the robotic surgical system, and a user console. The user console includes a seat and a first adjustable, ergonomic arm support linkage coupled to the seat, in which the first arm support linkage is movable between a folded storage configuration and at least one unfolded use configuration corresponding to at least one of a user characteristic and a surgical task characteristic. The at least one unfolded use configuration may be pre-stored in a database.
MULTI-POSITIONAL ARTICULATING PLATFORM SYSTEM
A variable height workstation system comprises a base, a variable height platform, a lift mechanism, a lower adjustable pivot assembly, and an upper adjustable pivot assembly. The base is configured to be mounted to a support surface. The lift mechanism is configured to move the variable height platform between a fully lowered and raised position. The lower adjustable pivot assembly is configured to be connected be to the base and the lift mechanism. The lower adjustable pivot assembly comprises a lower adjustable force regulator configured to adjust a force required to rotate a lower pivot member about its first vertical rotational axis. The upper adjustable pivot assembly is configured to be connected to the lift mechanism and the variable height platform. The upper adjustable pivot assembly comprises an upper adjustable force regulator configured to adjust a force required to rotate an upper pivot member about its second vertical rotational axis.
Systems and methods for detecting and identifying arcing based on numerical analysis
Method and system allowing more accurate detection and identification of unwanted arcing include novel processing of signal voltage representing recovered power-line current. In one implementation, arc-faults are detected based on numerical analysis where individual cycles of line voltage and current are observed and data collected during each cycle is processed to estimate likelihood of presence of arc-event within each individual cycle based on pre-defined number of arc-events occurring within pre-defined number of contiguous cycles. In another implementation, fast transient current spikes detection can be done by: computing difference values between consecutive line-current samples collected over a cycle, average of differences, and peak-to-peak value of line-current; comparing each difference value to average of difference; comparing each difference value to peak-to-peak value; and, based on calculation of composite of two comparisons, using thresholds to determine if arcing is present within processed cycle.
Angle adjustment mechanism of storage drawer of desk for keyboard
An angle adjustment mechanism of a storage drawer of a desk for a keyboard contains: two lockers, two connectors, two movable pieces, two retainers, and two adjustment assemblies. The locker includes a locking section and a through orifice. The connector includes a stop plate, a fitting portion, multiple first teeth, and a column. The movable piece includes a connecting section, a passing orifice, and a support section. The retainer includes a first receiving orifice, multiple second teeth, at least one first slot, at least one recess, and at least one second slot. The adjustment assembly includes a drive member having an accommodation space, at least one second protrusion, a second receiving orifice, and a third receiving orifice. The first adjusting member includes a fourth receiving orifice, at least one fourth notch, at least one fifth notch, and a sixth notch. The second adjusting member has at least one post.
Support assembly for mounting structures onto vertically disposed objects including televisions and video monitors
A support assembly includes (i) a stand having an underside surface configured to be placed on top of a flat screen device and an upper surface configured to support at least one object; (ii) a mount secured to the underside surface of the stand, the mount presenting a first ratchet ring; (iii) an arm presenting a second ratchet ring; (iv) a fastener positioned and arranged to connect the arm to the mount, causing the first ratchet ring to engage the second ratchet ring, setting the arm at an angle so that a free end of the arm engages the flat screen device while the stand extends at least substantially horizontally from the top of the flat screen device; and (v) wherein the mount is threaded to threadingly engage the fastener.
Adjustable Desk
The present invention is related to an adjustable desk, which includes a long desktop, a slide rail mounted on the bottom surface of the desktop along the length direction thereof, and a sliding member slidably arranged in the slide rail, which comprises a connector connected with the sliding member, and a replaceable and detachable office furniture unit, such as keyboard holder, drawer cabinet, and etc., connected with the connector of the sliding member. In this way, when the user changes his/her seating position or use of the desk, the sliding members allow the office furniture units, such as the keyboard holder, the drawer cabinet, and etc., to be moved along the slide rails along the length direction of the desktop or replaced, so as for flexibly adjusting the keyboard holder and drawer cabinet to the user's new seating position in order to allow the user to operate the keyboard or to reach the drawer cabinet without being limited in a certain location at the desk for work. Accordingly, it may facilitate office work and increase the utilization of the desktop space.
Display positioning apparatus and method
An apparatus for positioning an electronic display is described. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases, the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.
