Attached to the lift is a worksurface having a front edge, and an extending member connects the lift to the worksurface. The extendable member is configured to adjust the location of the worksurface longitudinally from a retracted position to an extended position, wherein the front edge of the worksurface is vertically alignable with the front edge of the support surface when the extending member is in the extended position.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING AN INTERACTIVE WORKSTATION BASED ON BIOMETRIC INPUT
20190328244 · 2019-10-31 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed for moving a tabletop of a workstation based on biometric input associated with a user, the method being performed by a controller that is configured to send control signals to actuators to move the tabletop. One method includes: accessing a user profile associated with a user device; determining parameters for moving the tabletop, based on the user profile, for eliciting desired biometric inputs from the workstation user at one or more times during the movement of the tabletop; and repeating one or more iterations of: moving the tabletop based on the parameters, by sending control signals to the actuators of the tabletop; receiving, into a data storage device, actual biometric inputs from the workstation user; comparing the received actual biometric inputs with the desired biometric inputs; and if the parameters do not elicit the desired biometric inputs, adjusting the parameters.

A desktop includes a first portion, a second portion, and a linkage assembly attached to the first and second portions. The first desktop portion has a first, substantially planar, upper surface, and an edge. The second desktop portion has a second, substantially planar, upper surface, a proximal edge, and a distal edge. The linkage assembly is configured such that the second desktop portion is movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. At the first configuration, the second desktop portion is substantially coplanar with the first desktop portion, and the proximal edge of the second desktop portion is adjacent the edge of the first desktop portion. At the second configuration, the proximal edge of the second desktop portion is beneath the edge of the first desktop portion, and the second desktop portion is not coplanar with the first desktop portion and is not parallel to the first desktop portion.

SECURING BASE FOR HOLDING UP A DISPLAY SUSPENDING APPARATUS THEREON
20190295446 · 2019-09-26 ·

A securing base includes a base seat unit and a clamp unit. The base seat unit includes a base seat formed with a receiving groove, and a securing plate secured to the base seat. The clamp unit includes a clamp member and a bolt member. The clamp member has an engaging segment disposed within the receiving groove, and a clamp segment disposed outside of the base seat unit. The bolt member extends drivingly through the engaging segment and extends rotatably into the securing plate. Rotation of the bolt member drives the clamp member to move along the bolt member, thereby moving the clamp segment to be distal from or proximate to the securing plate.

A securing base includes a base seat unit and a clamp unit. The base seat unit includes a base seat formed with a receiving groove. The clamp unit includes a clamp member and a bolt member. The clamp member has an engaging segment disposed within the receiving groove, a clamp segment disposed outside of the base seat unit, and a connecting segment interconnecting the engaging segment and the clamp segment, and cooperating with the engaging segment and the clamp segment to define a clamp space which gradually shrinks in size away from the connecting segment. The bolt member extends drivingly through the engaging segment. Rotation of the bolt member drives the clamp member to move along the bolt member, thereby moving the clamp segment along an axis.

Adjustable desk platform

An adjustable desk platform can include: an upper platform defining a substantially planar work surface; a base located beneath the upper platform, the base defining a bottom surface without legs that is adapted to sit on an existing desk; first and second sets of arms coupling the upper platform to the base, wherein the first and second sets of arms are adapted for movement of the upper platform substantially in parallel with the base between a fully raised position and a fully lowered position; and a user-operable locking mechanism associated with the upper platform, the locking mechanism adapted to releasably lock the upper platform in the fully raised position, and in at least one intermediate position between the fully raised position and the fully lowered position. Other features and embodiments are discussed.

Motorized, height adjustable desktop system

A motorized desktop stand unit having a main surface assembly designed to accommodate a monitor or laptop and a secondary surface assembly designed to accommodate a keyboard. The desktop stand unit also has a frame assembly having an upper frame and a lower frame. An elevation mechanism is provided between the upper frame and lower frame. A switch provided in the main surface assembly, when actuated, causes the elevation mechanism to adjust the space between the upper frame and lower frames, changing the height of the main surface assembly.

Support assembly mountable on vertically disposed objects, such as televisions and video monitors

A support assembly includes a stand having an underside surface for placement on top of a flat screen device and an upper surface for supporting at least one object; a mount located on the underside surface of the stand, the mount providing a plurality of holes or grooves; a first set of ratchets including a plurality of extensions for insertion into the plurality of holes or grooves; an arm presenting a second set of ratchets; and a fastener for connecting the arm to the mount, causing (i) the plurality of extensions to be inserted into the plurality of holes or grooves and (ii) the first set of ratchets to engage the second set of ratchets, setting the arm at an angle so that a free end of the arm engages the flat screen device while the stand extends at least substantially horizontally from the top of the flat screen device.

Collapsible Table System
