ERGONOMIC KEYBOARD SYSTEM
An ergonomic keyboard apparatus comprising a keyboard frame including an ergonomic contour defined in part by a gabled portion of the keyboard frame that is pitched into a contoured peak that forms a first slope and a second slope on either side of the keyboard frame. A plurality of keys are disposed within the keyboard frame such that key tops of each of the plurality of keys follow the ergonomic contour of the keyboard frame. A wrist pad coupled to the keyboard frame has a gabled center portion and a surface contour that corresponds to the ergonomic contour of the keyboard frame defined by its gabled portion, first slope, and second slope. Each location along at least a portion of the surface contour of the wrist pad is elevated to at least a height of corresponding key tops of the plurality of keys.
EMBEDDING APPARATUS
It is an object of the present invention to provide an embedding apparatus capable of selectively changing a thickness above a hand-rest part of a mechanism for placing a hand. As solving means, the embedding apparatus (10) according to the present invention configured to dispense and embed an embedding material into an embedding tray includes a cold spot (16) configured to cool the embedding tray, a hand-rest part (18) provided on each of left and right sides with the cold spot (16) interposed therebetween, and a wrist-rest part (24) detachably attached onto the hand-rest part (18).
WRIST REST AND WRIST-REST CUSHION
It is an object of the present invention to provide a wrist rest or a wrist-rest cushion which is detachably attached onto a hand-rest part on an embedding apparatus and which can be easily and selectively adjustable in thickness on the hand-rest part. As a solution, the apparatus according to the present invention is a wrist rest (24) detachably attached to an embedding apparatus (10) configured to dispense and embed an embedding material into an embedding tray, and includes an attachment mechanism (22) configured to attach at a position covering a hand rest part (18) of the embedding apparatus (10) entirely or partly.
Therapeutic Multi-Task Hand Support Device
A hand support device, for an input apparatus such as typing apparatus like keyboard, notebook, laptop, or the like, includes an elongated hand supporting bridge unit, a support base assembly and a pillar and bar joint assembly. The support base assembly supports the hand supporting bridge unit directly over the keyboard along the keyboard from the right side to the left side of the keyboard so that the user can rest on and work, wherein the support base assembly comprises a first base unit and a second base unit adapted for positioning at two sides of the keyboard. The pillar and bar joint assembly is to arranged to movably support by the first base unit and the second base unit in order for the hand supporting bridge unit to provide a transversal support for the user's upper extremities over the keyboard.
KEYBOARD DEVICE AND PALM REST MODULE THEREOF
A keyboard device includes a keyboard module and a palm rest module. The palm rest module is arranged beside a lateral side of the keyboard module, and supports a wrist of a user. The palm rest module includes a pedestal, a casing and an adjusting element. The casing is disposed on the pedestal. The adjusting element is arranged between the pedestal and the casing. A position of the casing relative to the pedestal is adjustable through the adjusting element. In a first usage state, the casing is moved toward the keyboard module or moved away from the keyboard module through the adjusting element. In a second usage state, the casing is rotated about the adjusting element and relative to the keyboard module, so that an included angle is formed between the casing and the lateral side of the keyboard module.
Rollable Pillow and Furling Method Thereof
A rollable pillow includes an elongated pillow body and a constriction assembly. The pillow body has a first end portion, a second end portion and a main body extended between the first end portion and the second end portion. The pillow body is normally extended in a closed position to form an arc-shaped support structure and able to be rolled up and furled to a furled condition to form a furled spiral structure. The constriction assembly includes an extensible constriction member arranged at a first predetermined position of an outer side of the pillow body and a first joining member arranged at a second predetermined position of the outer side of the pillow body such that the constriction member is able to be extended to connect with the first joining member to constrict the pillow body in the furled condition so as to retain the rollable pillow in the furled spiral structure.
CUSHIONED MOUSE AND DESK PADS
This application relates to cushioned pads such as cushioned mousepads and other types of cushioned office pads or work surfaces. The cushioned pads can comprise a multilayer construction with a top layer that provides a work surface and a lower layer that provides cushioning or padding. During use the pads may provide a comfortable and ergonomic support that reduces or eliminates pressure points on a user's forearm, wrist, or hand. The cushioned pads can include fences configured to retain a mouse thereon.
Portable collapsible writing desk for a notebook computer
A portable collapsible writing desk for a notebook computer preferably includes an arm rest assembly, a desktop assembly, a column assembly and a base assembly. The base assembly is attached to a bottom of the column assembly. The arm rest assembly is attached to a top of the column assembly. The desktop assembly is moveably retained by the arm rest assembly. The collapsible writing desk may rest on the base assembly, or rest on an end of the desktop assembly and an edge of the column assembly. A retractable handle may be extended to carry the portable collapsible writing desk for a notebook computer like a suitcase.
Pad for supporting a user's wrists, lower arms, and keyboard while typing
A pad for supporting a user's wrists, lower arms, and keyboard while typing has a support panel, a shelf, a supportive liner, and a textured liner. The support panel is a semi-rigid piece of flat material that has the supportive liner covering a top surface and the textured liner covering a bottom surface. The shelf is connected along one edge of the support panel so that the shelf can act as a riser that supports one end of the keyboard. The shelf and the support pad work in concert to create a sufficiently level typing surface for the user. As such, the user's wrists do not need to be bent while typing. Specifically, a height of the shelf is less than a height of the support panel. This configuration enables the typing surface of the keyboard to be placed coplanar to the top surface of the pad.
Adjustable keyboard palm rest
A keyboard palm rest includes a base including a raised intermediate member, first and second cavities extending from two sides of the intermediate member respectively, and first and second grooves disposed through the first and second cavities respectively; a first pad including a first projection slidably disposed in the first groove; a second pad including a second projection slidably disposed in the second groove; a first sliding member including a first resilient member moveably disposed in the first cavity, and a first fastener driven through the first resilient member into the first projection to pivotably secure the first pad to the first sliding member; and a second sliding member includes a second resilient member moveably disposed in the second cavity, and a second fastener driven through the second resilient member into the second projection to pivotably secure the second pad to the second sliding member.
