The present invention relates to a pressure sensing chair capable of wireless charging, detecting body pressure, and measuring the distribution of body pressure. A pressure sensing chair according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: at least one sensor unit including a first electrode layer having a plurality of first electrode patterns arranged in a first direction, a second electrode layer having a plurality of second electrode patterns arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a dielectric layer arranged between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer; and a module unit connected to the sensor unit and including a communication unit and a wireless charging unit.

A tabletop enclosure having a fully automatic self-actuated drop-down recessing flip-top cover. After the lid has automatically, spring open it begins to autonomously recess by sliding downwardly in a smooth controlled manner into the flip-top enclosure until it is substantially recessed. A cabling system for extending electronic signals between devices is disclosed. The cabling system includes an extension cable connecting a female source connector and a destination connecter. The female source connector is housed within a headshell that is configured to mount to a wallplate, a table insert, or a rack panel within meeting and conference locations.

A desk including a support column having a top and a worksurface having a bottom. An attachment plate is disposed between and coupled to the top of the support column and to the bottom of the worksurface. A leveling component is disposed between the support column and the attachment plate. A system for providing AC or DC power, for charging or powering electrical/electronic devices that are being used whilst the device is located at, around or within, an item of furniture which is defined as an item that has no local connection point to a mains AC wired power supply of an environment. The system is provided by a series of modules, at least some of which are based around a single mechanical fixation system, thereby allowing the furniture designer or manufacturer to implement a common mechanical fixing system and choose from a variety of modules to create the electrical system so desired. Modules within the system include a at least one battery module plus modules such as a Power Supply Unit (PSU), an AC or DC power in-feed connection point, DC power provision points, inverter, AC power provision points, switches, electrical protection devices and/or power control devices.

Some implementations of a table system can include a protective member that is positionable below a table to provide protection to both a table and chairs. The protective member can extend lateral beyond a peripheral edge of the table top, for example, to protect the table and accessory furniture while allowing the table top and the peripheral edge of the table top to remain exposed.
