ORALLY AVAILABLE SEH/PDE4 DUAL INHIBITORS

Provided herein are novel bioavailable dual inhibitors capable of inhibiting both soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) and phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), and methods of using the same.

Compounds

Compounds of general formula (I): wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5.sup.a, R* X.sup.1, X.sup.2, Z and Y are as defined herein are positive modulators of the calcium-activated chloride channel (CaCC), TMEM16A. The compounds are useful for treating diseases and conditions affected by modulation of TMEM16A, particularly respiratory diseases and conditions. ##STR00001##

INHIBITORS OF CD40-CD154 BINDING

Disclosed herein are compounds including pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, prodrugs, hydrates and tautomers thereof which modulate the interactions of CD-40-CD40L. The compounds are useful for treating, ameliorating or preventing an autoimmune disease, inflammatory disease, or other immune-related disease in a patient in need of treatment.

REMODILINS FOR AIRWAY REMODELING AND ORGAN FIBROSIS

Disclosed herein is a class of molecules termed remodilins that are effective in treating asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and associated disorders. The molecules ameliorate asthma and pulmonary fibrosis symptoms by various mechanisms, including inhibiting airway smooth muscle contractile protein accumulation, reducing airway constrictor hyperresponsiveness, inhibiting bronchial fibroblast transformation into myofibroblasts, and/or treating or preventing airway or pulmonary fibrosis.

Opioid receptor modulators and products and methods related thereto

Compounds are provided having the structure of Formula (I): ##STR00001##
or a pharmaceutically acceptable isomer, racemate, hydrate, solvate, isotope, or salt thereof, wherein A, B, L, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.8, m and n are as defined herein. Such compounds modulate the opioid receptor, particulare the mu-opioid receptor (MOR) and/or the kappa-opioid receptor (KOR), and/or the delta-opioid receptor (DOR). Products containing such compounds, as well as methods for their use and preparation, are also provided.
