An organic compound that emits red light having a long wavelength is represented by formula (1). In formula (1), R.sub.1 to R.sub.24 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy group, a silyl group, and a cyano group.

An organic electroluminescence device includes an anode, an emitting layer and a cathode. The emitting layer includes a first compound and a second compound. The first compound is a delayed fluorescent compound. The second compound is a fluorescent compound. A solution of the second compound in toluene has an emission peak wavelength in a range from 430 nm to 480 nm. A molar absorbance coefficient of the second compound at an absorption peak closest to a long-wavelength side is in a range from 29,000 L/(mol.Math.cm) to 1,000,000 L/(mol.Math.cm). The second compound has a Stokes shift in a range from 1 nm to 20 nm.
