Collapsible and expandable storage rack
A collapsible and extendable storage rack is provided. The rack includes a first end support, a second end support, a top shelf hingedly attached to the first end support and selectively connectable to the second end support, a bottom shelf hingedly attached to the second end support and selectively connectable to the first end support, and a middle shelf. The middle shelf includes a first portion and a second portion hingedly connected to the first portion. The first portion is hingedly connected to the first end support. The second portion is hingedly connected to the second end support. The rack is movable between a collapsed position and an extended position.
BACKSTOP SUPPORT BRACKET
A backstop bracket which can be removably secured to a support member of a pallet rack limits the distance a load can travel along the pallet rack. When installed on the support member of the pallet rack, the bracket allows for uniform pallet placement on the pallet rack and maintains a predetermined distance between the load on the pallet rack and an adjacent structure, for example, another pallet rack, a wall or a column, to define a vertical flue space for air circulation and fire prevention purposes. The bracket is preferably formed of steel or other suitable metal or, in the alternative, can comprise an elastomeric material including a high impact plastic.
Storage system and article retrieving method
An apparatus is disclosed that provides a storage system designed to allow pickers to easily and efficiently pull products from all portions of the storage system from a single side of the storage system. The storage system includes a first storage rack that has a first plurality of columns and a first platform extending from one of the first plurality of columns. An outer edge of the first platform forms an end of the first storage rack. Positioned adjacent to the first storage rack is a second storage rack with a second plurality of columns and a second platform that extends from one of the second plurality of columns, where an outer edge of the second platform forms an end of the second storage rack. An aisle is formed by a predetermined distance between the outer edges of the first and second platforms.
Water collecting pallet rack and method of fire protection
An open framework warehouse storage rack system for supporting articles on multi-tiered shelves within the wetting zone of an overhead fire sprinkler system. The storage rack system comprises one or more a longitudinally extending rack arrays. A falling water collection system is combined with some or all of the rack arrays. The falling water collection system includes any one of several water handling features that enhance the wetting of storage articles during a fire. One such feature is a scoop-like longitudinal water catcher that protrudes outwardly beyond the front and/or rear faces of the rack array. Another is a transverse intra-stanchion water diverter. Another is a transverse mid-span water diverter. Another is a gutter formed integrally in an uppermost beam. And another is a vertical flue catcher. The falling water collection system maximizes the amount of water that is applied directly to a fire inside the rack array.
SHELVING SYSTEM
A shelving system triangular bracket includes a vertical leg with a top end and a bottom end, a horizontal leg with an outer end and an inner end which is connected to the top end of the vertical leg, a diagonal leg with a top end connected to the outer end of the horizontal leg and a bottom end connected to the bottom end of the vertical leg, and a plurality of hooks disposed on the diagonal leg. A complete shelving system may include a top shelf and a side shelving unit.
STRUCTURE PROTECTOR
Structure protector (5), wherein these structures (5) are shelves, doors, pillars or similar and have support legs (6), which comprises a covering element (1) of the support legs (6), formed by a profile (1.1) with a C-shaped section suitable for being adjusted on the exterior lateral contour of said support legs (6) and with a support base (1.2) to the ground and at least one element with a hollow truncated pyramid shape (2), with three inclined sides (2.1) and one open side, an open lower base and an upper base, which is open towards the open side, which has a horizontal flat surface (2.2) in the contour corresponding to the three inclined sides (2.1), where the shape of the interior contour of this horizontal flat surface (2.2) is suitable for fitting the surface around the covering element (1).
Modular pallet racking system
A pallet racking system includes a plurality of pallet shelves connected to a plurality of columns and a plurality of suspension hanging systems coupled to the plurality of columns. Each suspension hanging system is coupled to and configured for supporting a storage unit therebelow. The suspension hanging systems are slidable relative to the plurality of pallet shelves such that the sliding movement of a suspension hanging system relative to an adjacent suspension hanging system defines an aisle space therebetween.
UTILITY RACK HAVING END SUPPORTS WITH FOLDING CROSS-MEMBERS
A utility rack includes a pair of end supports for supporting one or more shelves there between. Each end support includes a first vertical support having one or more cross members mounted thereto and a second vertical support. The cross members may be mounted to one or more cross member mounts of the first vertical support and are configured to be movable relative to the first vertical support between a stored position in which they are disconnected from the second vertical support and are collapsed inwardly towards the first vertical support for storage or transport and an extended position in which free ends of the cross members may be attached to the second vertical support using fasteners.
Method of assembling a rack shelving unit
A method of assembling a rack shelving unit including first and second side frames, at least one beam, and one or more tie bars. The beam can be coupled to the side frames, and the tie bar can be resiliently compressed and retained to secure the tie bar to the beam.
