SEMI-FULL ACCESS AND FULL ACCESS FRAMED CABINETRY
A semi-full access and full access face frame for a cabinet box is provided, together with a method for making and assembling cabinet boxes. In a semi-full access face frame, the vertical stiles are rotated ninety degrees compared to a traditional face frame. In a full access face frame the vertical stiles and the horizontal rails are rotated ninety degrees compared to a traditional face frame.
Variable height support assembly for an electronic device with a monitor
The combination of: an electronic device having a monitor; and a support assembly made up of a collection of components. A first plurality of the components can be selectively changed between: a) a first state wherein at least two of the components in the first plurality of components are separated from each other and a third component; and b) a second state wherein the first plurality of components cooperatively define a first support assembly configuration with a device support surface to elevate the supported device. The first plurality of components is changeable between the first and second states without requiring use of any fasteners.
Set of panels for an assembled product
A set of panels including a first panel with a first main plane and a second panel with a second main plane. A first edge of the first panel is configured to be locked to a second edge of the second panel, wherein the first main plane is essentially perpendicular to the second main plane, and wherein the first and the second edges are locked in a first direction, which is perpendicular to the first main plane, and a second direction, which is perpendicular to the second main plane. The first edge includes an edge tongue, with a longitudinal direction along the first edge, including a bottom edge, a first surface and an opposite second surface. The edge groove and/or the edge tongue is/are configured such that a greater force is absorbed by the longitudinal central part than by an edge part at third and fourth edges.
COMPOSED ELEMENT, MULTI-LAYERED BOARD AND PANEL-SHAPED ELEMENT FOR FORMING THIS COMPOSED ELEMENT
Composed element, wherein this composed element comprises at least two panel-shaped elements, which substantially are formed from a board material; wherein said panel-shaped elements are interconnected at an angle by means of coupling devices including a tongue and a groove, which coupling devices substantially are made as profiled parts in the board material; and wherein said coupling devices also include locking elements, which, in coupled condition, prevent the moving apart of the tongue and groove. The panel-shaped elements are formed on the basis of board material in the form of particle board consisting of two or more layers, which in respect to the average fineness of the particles, show a different degree of fineness, namely a basic layer with coarser particles, more particularly chips, and at least one outer layer, or at least a more outward-situated layer, which is of a finer composition than the composition of the basic layer, in other words, with particles, chips, respectively, which on average are finer.
ASSEMBLED PRODUCT AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE PRODUCT
An assembled product, such as an assembled product, such as a furniture component or a furniture, such as a drawer, a cupboard, bookshelves, a wardrobe, a kitchen fixture, or a box for storing or transporting including at least three panels arranged in three different planes. Also, a set of panels for an assembled product and a method of assembling the product.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FURNITURE USING EXTRUDED POLYMER PROFILES
A method for manufacturing furniture using extruded polymeric honeycomb profiles, capable of providing the market with a sustainable product which can be exposed to moisture. The method includes three polymeric extruded honeycomb profiles, the extruded profile being fitted to the profile by inserting the flanges into the angled conformation, being anchored by the contact of the external flexible flaps with the flexible flaps. The union of profiles and provides an intermediate fitting allowing fixating the shelves, for example, being anchored by inserting the appendage into the angled conformations, fixating them through contact of the flexible external flanges with the external flexible flaps, allowing the formation of a three-part conjugation, being one profile and two profiles. The method allows the union of two profiles through the union of the external flexible flaps of the appendage, anchored to the internal flexible flaps of the flanges. After fitting the three profiles, which can be bottom, bases and shelves, the furniture is semi finished, the sides are mounted using profiles also fitted to the bottom, which refer to and position them, allowing the use of self-tapping screws attached to the hole of the support, allowing it to be anchored internally to the profiles, thus improving the finish in view of its honeycomb structure, after being finished with the cap to conceal the hole and the screw. The cutting edges are covered with adhesive border strips along the side walls, internal structural elements and supports.
MODULAR FURNITURE UNIT FOR ASSEMBLY BY A WEDGE
The invention regards a wedge for assembling a furniture unit, a kit of parts for a modular shelving unit, and a modular shelving unit for assembly without tools, wherein the wedge is a T-shaped wedge for assembling a furniture unit, comprising: a rectangular plate, wherein the edges of the plate define a length direction and a width direction, a trapezoid plate, superimposed on the rectangular plate such that a first parallel edge of the trapezoid plate is adjacent to a first width edge of the rectangular plate, and wherein the non-parallel edges are symmetrically tapered along the length direction and in the direction away from the first width edge, and a beam, placed at the first width edge, thereby forming the T-shape, wherein the wedge is configured for frictionally engaging two planes within the furniture unit.
Framed full access cabinet
A full access frame can be designed with a thin frame with stiles that are about half the width of conventional stiles, such that inner sides of the stiles and rails include hidden/blind connection points to facilitate hidden or blind mounting of the full access frame to cabinet sides with mounted dowel connectors that attach to the hidden/blind connection points. A framed full access cabinet includes a full access frame mounted on front of a cabinet box, such that drawer rails and door hinges can be mounted on inner cabinet sides of the cabinet box. The dowel connectors and the hidden/blind connection points can be respectively slide-in dowels and slide-in inserts or alternatively snap-in dowels and snap-in inserts.
MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING PANELS
Panels are shown which are provided with a mechanical locking system allowing perpendicular connection with a snap action. A set of panels including a first and a second panel, an edge of the second panel is insertable into a groove of the first panel, when the panels are arranged essential perpendicular to each other, to obtain a mechanical connection between the first and the second panel, when the second panel is displaced essentially perpendicularly to the first panel.
