Synergistic methods of using benzoxaborole compounds and preservative gases as an antimicrobial for crops
The present disclosure relates to methods for using benzoxaborole compounds in combination with preservative gases, such as carbon dioxide or sulfur dioxide, as an antimicrobial that synergistically controls pathogens of agricultural crops.
Fungicide for the treatment of fungal pathogens causing mycotoxins
Fungal diseases and resulting mycotoxins are reduced or eliminated from plant tissues during crop growth or post-harvest during storage by treatment with an aqueous spray solution prepared from a fungicide composition of a bicarbonate salt containing a surfactant system to reduce the surface tension and contact angle of the spray solution on the plant surface thereby controlling the crystal size of the bicarbonate and re-distribution and adherence of the crystals to the crop vegetation and/or grains.

Phytosanitary composition comprising essential oils that potentiate antifungal activity
The present invention relates to phytosanitary compositions with fungicidal properties that comprise a mixture of essential oils obtained from plants and agents with known fungicidal properties, such as alkali metal or ammonium bicarbonates, and compounds based on copper or the salts thereof, for use, principally, in contact-protection against fungal infections in cultivated plants and post-harvest, and also in other antifungal applications. In said compositions, the effect of the agents that have known fungicidal properties is potentiated synergistically by the aforementioned essential oils. The present invention also relates to the use of said essential oils as potentiators for agents with known fungicidal properties.

Method for the prophylactic treatment of a food product silo
A method for the prophylactic treatment of the development of parasites in a food product storage silo, the food product storage generating the deposit of food product scraps and/or dust on the walls of the silo, said prophylactic treatment method comprising the application, to at least one part of the walls, of a layer comprising at least 10 g of mineral per m.sup.2 of wall, the mineral being chosen from: an alkali metal bicarbonate, an alkaline-earth metal carbonate, an alkali metal sulphate, an alkaline-earth metal sulphate, an alkaline-earth metal oxide, and mixtures thereof; the mineral being in the form of particles having an average diameter of at most 200 m; and said method being characterized in that the application of the layer is carried out after emptying of the silo, on food product scraps and/or dust deposited on the walls of the silo.
