Shelving system

A shelving system includes a plurality of horizontal support members, each horizontal support member having a length; a plurality of wall supports, each wall support including a first surface on which at least a portion of a horizontal support member rests; a plurality of brackets, each bracket attachable to the horizontal support members at different positions along the length of the horizontal support member; a plurality of vertical support members, each vertical support member coupled to at least one bracket; and a shelf attached to at least two of the plurality of vertical support members.

Smart shelves

Interposer assemblies may be inserted between a traditional shelf and traditional supports for the shelf. Each of the interposer assemblies may be configured to generate signals corresponding to changes in loading on the traditional shelf, and information regarding the changes may be determined to identify items placed onto or removed from the traditional shelf, and locations at which the items were placed or from which the items were removed. The interposer assemblies may include one or more load cells, such as strain-gage load cells, and analog signals generated by the load cells may be processed to determine a mass of an item placed on the shelf or removed therefrom. The item, and a location corresponding to the item, may be determined based on the mass and according to standard equilibrium procedures.

A system, method, and apparatus for installing or modifying the configuration of a pallet rack beam shelving system. A pallet rack assembly tool includes a mounting stub that is configured to be positioned below a cross member of a pallet rack system. A beam carrier is then operatively coupled to the mounting stub to place an upper support surface subjacent to a bottom edge of the cross member. The beam carrier includes upstanding beam stop extending forwardly from and above the upper support surface. The beam stop is configured to retain a released end of the cross member while the worker may attach or detach an opposite end of the cross member to or from the upright support member.

Display Bar Assembly and Mounting Bracket for Merchandising Displays
20200085212 · 2020-03-19 ·

An improved display bar assembly, for the cantilever support of product dispensing trays. A rectangular display bar, is supported by spaced apart, flat mounting brackets on which mounting hooks are located in the primary plane of the bracket, and openings for reception of the display bar are offset axially inward from that plane enabling the recessed accommodation of flanged retaining plugs at opposite ends of the bar. The flanges of the retaining plugs have axially extending abutment walls which overlap outer walls of the display bar and engage offset surfaces of the bracket. The abutment walls overlap display bar walls on two opposing sides only, enabling the retaining plugs to be molded with transverse friction fins. This in turn enables the use of readily available, inexpensive grades of light gauge (e.g., 16 gauge) steel tubing of greater height than width (e.g., 11.5 inch) for the display bars.

Modular Cabinet Assembly
20200077792 · 2020-03-12 · ·

A modular cabinet assembly has at least a first sub-cabinet and a second sub-cabinet. Each sub-cabinet includes a back board having at least two separate back board pieces that are pivotably connected to each other, a left side board pivotably connected to one of the at least two back board pieces, and a right side board pivotably connected to another of the at least two back board pieces. At least one shelf board having opposite ends is removably connected to the left side board and the right side board of either the first sub-cabinet or the second sub-cabinet. A first end board is connected to either an upper end of the first sub-cabinet or a lower end of the second sub-cabinet. A first connector removably connects the left side boards of the first and second sub-cabinets, and a second connector removably connects the right side boards of the first and second sub-cabinets.

METHOD FOR MAKING SHELVES

A rack for shelving consisting of upright posts and horizontal beams, connecting each between two upright posts, wherein said upright posts comprise. The upright posts include each at least one flank demonstrating one column of through gamma perforation doublets.

The horizontal beams are either depth forming beams or width forming beams. The width forming beams include each at each of each extremity two rows of one doublet of fasteners adapted to fit with the gamma perforations so that the entire number of individual fasteners in those two rows of said perforations find each a matching perforation. The fasteners of the width forming beam are formed including each a cross recess of the width matching the width of the flank of the upright posts.
