SHELVING SYSTEM

A shelving system includes a plurality of horizontal support members, each horizontal support member having a length; a plurality of wall supports, each wall support including a first surface on which at least a portion of a horizontal support member rests; a plurality of brackets, each bracket attachable to the horizontal support members at different positions along the length of the horizontal support member; a plurality of vertical support members, each vertical support member coupled to at least one bracket; and a shelf attached to at least two of the plurality of vertical support members.

MODULAR SHELF SYSTEM WITH TAB AND SLOT MOUNTING
20200000222 · 2020-01-02 · ·

A modular shelving system includes a wall panel with slots and shelf brackets with tabs which attach to the wall panel slots. The tabs have upwardly sloping surfaces which engage sloped surfaces on the back side of the slots. These mating surfaces better retain the tabs into the slots and provide a higher degree of strength in the tab and slot joint. This allows the shelving system to be made with smaller tabs and thinner material than previously possible; providing a more secure and visually appealing shelving system.

The present application provides, in one embodiment, a modular shelf system having spaced apart upright subassemblies that each include a first and second removable support standard recessed within. The system further provides at least one shelf fixture configured to be removably mounted to at least one of the support standards in each of a first and second upright subassemblies selected. The shelf may receive retail product trays via snap-fit fasteners. And, a variably configurable hanger bar may support the modular shelf system.

COMBINED TYPE SHELF

A combined type shelf includes post combinations, a storage layer disposed amid the post combinations, and connection assemblies configured to assemble the storage layer. Each connection assembly includes a first and a second connection assembly hook. The first connection assembly hook includes a first body portion and first hook structures. The first hook structures are connected with two opposite sides of the first body portion, and the first body portion is connected with the storage layer. The second connection assembly hook includes a second body portion, a buckling portion, and second hook structures connected with two opposite sides of the second body portion. The buckling portion is disposed in the second body portion to buckle one assembly hole of the corresponding post combination. The first and the second hook structures are correspondingly buckled together to assemble the first and the second connection assembly hooks together.

Weldless shelf support beams and shelving units utilizing same

A shelf support beam for use in a shelving unit to support a shelf. The support beam includes a first end and a second end located at opposite longitudinal ends of the shelf support beam between which a structural member extends. The structural member has a C-shaped cross-section and includes a web separating a top flange that is configured to support the shelf from a bottom flange. The support beam further includes a tab located at each of the first and second ends of the structural member. Each tab includes a pair of securing fingers that are angled relative to a plane disposed perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the shelf support beam such that each securing finger is angled inwardly toward a center of the structural member. The support beam further includes an enforcement tab formed in the web at each of the first and second ends of the structural member.

Beams and posts are disclosed. The beams and posts may be used for racks or shelving. The beams and posts may be formed by folding a sheet of metal. For example, the beams and posts may be non-volumous or hollow. Optionally, a portion of the wall of the beam or post is thickened, for example, by folding over the metal back and forth. Optionally, the thickened portion runs the length of the beam or post. In some embodiments, a fastener (e.g., a loop and/or hook) is formed in the thickened portion of the wall. For example, the fastener formed by punching out of the wall. Optionally, the fasteners are used to connect the posts to the beams.

Fastening device

A fastening device includes a housing and first and second buttons disposed at opposite ends of the housing in a first axial direction. Each of the first and second buttons is actuatable in the first axial direction. The fastening device further includes first and second claws slidably disposed within the housing, each of the first and second claws including a hook portion extending outward from an engagement face of the housing. Each of the first and second claws engages one of the first or second push buttons within the housing so that relative movement of the first and second buttons toward one another moves the hook portions of the first and second claws away from one another in the first axial direction.
