Tilting and sliding system for a shelf having side support arms receivable into apertures in vertical posts
12402725 · 2025-09-02 · ·

A shelving system with a shelf, two rear vertical posts and two front vertical posts. The posts all have vertically spaced apart openings passing therethrough. The shelf has a pair of front side support arms that pass through the apertures in the front vertical posts and a pair of rear side support arms that pass through the apertures in the rear vertical posts. The rear of the shelf can be raised or lowered and re-attached in a new position while the front side support arms remain positioned within the apertures in the front vertical posts. If the rear of the shelf is accidentally dropped, the shelf rotates such that the front side support arms lock against the top and bottom of the vertically spaced apart apertures, thereby preventing the shelf from falling.

UNIVERSAL SHELF CLIP FOR STORAGE SYSTEM

A storage system with reversible shelf clips that can be oriented in at least two different ways to achieve variable shelf spacing. The shelf clips have a support arm that extends laterally from a clip plate and a pair of locating pins that can be slidably attached to the clip plate and inserted into the cutouts of the vertical posts. The shelf clip is asymmetrical such that the orientation of the shelf clip can be changed such that the support arm can be positioned above or below the center line of the clip plate, depending on the desired shelf height, and the locating pins can protrude from either face surface of the clip plate, allowing the shelf clips to be used in multiple orientations. The shelf clips are universal and eliminate the need for multiple parts or handed components to set the shelf spacing.

Shelf

A shelf includes a support arm part, a support foot part, a locking device. The support foot part is used for supporting the support arm part. The locking device is used for detachably locking the support arm part to the support foot part, so that the support arm part and the support foot part can be locked to each other through a locking part. During the process of disassembling and assembling the support foot part and the support arm part, only the locking of the support foot part and the support arm part by the locking device needs to be released, and the support foot part and the support arm part will not be damaged, so that the shelf can be repeatedly disassembled and assembled.

CABINET SYSTEM

A cabinet system includes a cabinet defined by a back panel, top panel, bottom panel and first and second opposing side panels. Each of the side panels includes at least one slot for supporting at least one removable shelf. The at least one removable shelf includes tabs for engaging with the slots located on the side panels and a cut-out along a rear edge wherein the cut-out is configured to weaken the at least one removable shelf at a predetermined location to promote controlled deformation of the removable shelf.
