Shelving unit with capacity increasing shelving

A shelving unit includes a plurality of posts, a plurality of shelf-supporting beams attached to the plurality of posts to form a shelf support frame, and a shelf. The shelf has a plurality of sides seated on the shelf support frame. The plurality of the sides of the shelf includes a depending flange. At least one of the depending flanges extends downwardly along a respective shelf-supporting beam between about 30% and about 100% of the height of the shelf-supporting beam. Another shelf unit is further disclosed where the shelves include a color that corresponds to a color-coded system for organizing the storage of items on the shelving unit. A method of organizing a shelving unit utilizing the color-coded shelf system is also disclosed.

BRACKET DEVICE

A bracket device includes a bracket and a fastening member. The fastening member is pivoted to the bracket by a shaft member. The bracket includes a first structure, and the fastening member includes a second structure. When the fastening member is located at a locked position, the second structure is in cooperation with the first structure, so as to prevent the fastening member from tilting relative to the bracket. One of the first structure and the second structure is a protruding portion, and the other one of the first structure and the second structure is a hole or a recessed portion.

Bracket device

A bracket device includes a bracket and a fastening member. The fastening member is pivoted to the bracket by a shaft member. The bracket includes a first structure and the fastening member includes a second structure. When the fastening member is located at a position, the first structure is in cooperation with the second structure, so as to prevent the fastening member from moving along an axis direction of the shaft member.

A bracket mounting structure includes a bracket, a base, a connecting member, an elastic member, and a mounting member. The bracket includes a longitudinal wall. The base is arranged adjacent to the longitudinal wall and includes a first space and a second space. The connecting member is mounted in the first space and includes a first portion, a second portion, and a through hole arranged in the first portion and the second portion. At least one of the first portion and the second portion has a screw thread feature. The elastic member is received in the first space and is configured to apply an elastic force to the connecting member. The mounting member is mounted in the second space.

The present invention relates in general to racks for storing elongated objects, such as ladders, lumber, and/or piping, and more specifically, to a freestanding ladder storage rack that may utilized individually or in a series to store objects of varying lengths, sizes, and kinds. A purpose of the invention is to provide an improved storage rack that is adjustable in length and height to provide for optimal storage capacity. In an exemplary embodiment, the storage rack may comprise a plurality of cantilevered, elongated arms having a closed first end removably secured to a vertical frame and an opposite open second end for placing objects thereon. In some instances, the storage rack may include at least one shelf and/or a table accessory when used in series. The plurality of arms, at least one shelf, and table may be adjustable in height along the vertical frame of the storage rack depending on requirements of an operator.
