RECORD HOLDER SYSTEM AND METHOD
A record holder system includes a frame of two ends and two sides, a fixed end attached to one of the ends of the frame, and a selectively adjustable end slidably connected to the frame. The frame connects to a track. The adjustable end includes a clamp that engages the track to retain the adjustable end in select position along the track. A handle connects to the clamp. The handle is manually pressed to disengage the clamp from the track, thereby allowing the adjustable end to be varied in relative position with respect to the fixed end. Records or other items may be stacked upright and retained in the system.
Shelving system with tilting shelves and adjustable dividers
A shelving system and its method of formation. The shelving system comprises a shelf including a support plate, a front edge lip connected to a front portion of the support plate, and a back support edge connected to a back portion of the support plate. The back support edge has an elongated slot. A divider is mounted on the support plate and includes a main portion having a first end and a second end, with a first tab attached to the main portion at the first end and engaging a slit in the front edge lip and a second tab attached to the main portion at the second end, the second tab being provided with a flange, said flange being formed with a hole. A fastener passes through the hole in the flange and the elongated slot in the back support edge to adjustably secure the divider to the shelf.
Product Management Display System with Trackless Pusher Mechanism
A product management display system for merchandising product on a shelf includes using a trackless pusher mechanism that travels along a surface on which product is placed and one or more dividers for separating product into rows. The one or more dividers may be engaged to a front rail in two different conditions, locked and unlocked. In a locked condition, the relationship between the divider and the front rail resists alteration in any direction with respect to each other. In the unlocked condition, the dividers may be freely slid laterally along the front rail, while remaining perpendicular to the front rail. The one or more dividers may lock to the front rail through the use of corresponding teeth, resilient surfaces, a locking tab, a locking bar and/or a cam that may define a cam glide.
Product Management Display System with Trackless Pusher Mechanism
A product management display system for merchandising product on a shelf includes using a trackless pusher mechanism that travels along a surface on which product is placed. A plurality of thin dividers separate the product into rows. The dividers may be formed separately and attached and secured by being inserted into a plurality of grooves arranged along the lower surface and the forward and rear support posts of the product dispensing tray. The dividers are configured to self-adjust by laterally shifting within the grooves when the product is moved forward by the pusher to being loaded by an operator to allow the product to be positioned in a tight fitting manner to maximize the amount of product that can be accommodated horizontally across the tray. In addition, the dividers may have a bottom wall spaced from the surface with a support column that is inserted into an elongated pocket to provide the structural support for the divider.
Divider with selectively securable track assembly
A merchandising system includes a first cooperating member having a first engagement structure for engaging the mounting member in order to restrict movement of the first cooperating member relative to the mounting member in at least one direction. A second cooperating member includes a second engagement structure for engaging the mounting member to restrict movement of the second cooperating member relative to the mounting member in at least one direction. A third engagement structure is provided for selectively connecting the first cooperating member to the second cooperating member. The first cooperating member and the second cooperating member are selectively independently mountable to the mounting member and are selectively attachable to each other and mountable as a combined structure to the mounting member.
Device for rotationally and translationally moving an object
A device for rotationally and translationally moving an object comprising a flat storage area relative to a storage area of a support plate arranged plane-parallel to the storage area, wherein: the object can be rotated relative to the support plate in one of two possible opposing rotational directions and can be displaced in a predefined direction; mutually facing bearing surfaces of the storage areas each have closed peripheral raceway grooves in which rolling elements are guided; the raceway grooves are formed such that, when a force is applied to the object in a direction defined in the plane of the storage area, the object can be moved, in a movement which is at least partially forcibly guided and which is simultaneously rotational and translational, from a starting position into an intermediary position, the object being rotated relative to the support plate in one of two possible opposing rotational directions and being displaced in a predefined direction; and the object, after being moved into the intermediary position, can further be rotated relative to the support plate in the one of two possible opposing rotational directions and can be displaced counter to the predefined direction, and, when rotated by 180°, resumes the base position.
