The meal may then be automatically prepared by the one or more robots. Automated storage shelves may be provided with electrical power for powering kitchen appliances found on the shelves.

Dishwasher lower rack stop

A dishwasher includes a treatment chamber configured to clean dishes; a rack in the treatment chamber configured to hold dishes, the rack including an upper horizontal bar, a lower horizontal bar and a vertical bar; and a stop removably attached to the rack. The stop includes a first latch that is latched to the upper horizontal bar, a second latch that is latched to the lower horizontal bar, a third latch that is latched to the vertical bar, and a stopper portion that extends below a lowest wire in the rack and is configured to abut a portion of the dishwasher to limit travel of the rack out of the dishwasher.

COOKING ARM AND COOKING SYSTEM

There is provided a cooking arm and a cooking system that are capable of providing novel cooking experiences, the cooking arm according to an aspect of the present technology including a cooking function arm portion including a first attaching/detaching portion capable of attaching/detaching an attachment having a cooking function; a movement function arm portion including a second attaching/detaching portion attachable/detachable to/from an arm movement unit that moves along a movement mechanism provided in a cooking system; and a hinge portion that rotatably connects each of the cooking function arm portion and the movement function arm portion. The present technology can be applied to a system kitchen having a robotic function.

COOKING SYSTEM

There is provided a cooking system capable of providing novel cooking experiences, the cooking system including: a top plate unit including a first top plate and a second top plate; a top plate drive unit that lowers the first top plate; a cooking assistance unit provided in a side surface of a cooking space formed by lowering of the first top plate; an arm movement unit that moves a cooking arm including an attaching/detaching portion capable of attaching/detaching an attachment having a cooking function along a movement mechanism; and an arm control unit that drives the cooking arm in accordance with a cooking process. The present technology can be applied to a system kitchen having a robotic function.

Undermount cooktop assembly

A cooktop assembly includes a countertop defining a cutout portion, and a countertop contact area is disposed proximate a perimeter of the cutout portion on a lower surface of the countertop. A cooktop defines a work portion, and a cooktop contact area is disposed proximate a perimeter of the work portion on an upper surface of the cooktop. An attachment assembly includes a first attachment member positionable on a first side of the cutout portion of the countertop. A second attachment member is positionable on a second side of the cutout portion of the countertop. The first and second sides are opposing sides, and the first and second attachment members are securable to the countertop and the cooktop to engage the countertop contact area with the cooktop contact area thereby securing the cooktop to the countertop.
