An expandable kitchen includes an expandable kitchen cabinet and a movable kitchen table. In the compacted state, an outer kitchen cabinet may be disposed adjacent other cabinets, while the kitchen table may be disposed over other cabinets and/or the kitchen sink. In the expanded state, the outer kitchen cabinet may be moved away from the other kitchen cabinets and the table may be expanded both radially and longitudinally to provide a table surface. A shelving unit may be movable to provide an extension to the table top. During movement of the shelving unit, the shelves May remain horizontal so that the shelf can be easily converted into a table top without the need for moving items on the shelves.

Removable, adjustable, and interchangeable hooks and shelves can be attached to the slatwalls.

The frame is stored within the compartment to enclose the kitchen equipment member in the storage position. The support block is slidably adjusted within the compartment to permit the frame to pass through the opening in the countertop and pivotably adjust to position the kitchen equipment member above the bowl of the sink in the exposed position.

An equipment storage apparatus permits kitchen equipment to be enclosed in a stored position proximate the sink or an exposed position above the sink's bowl. The equipment storage apparatus includes a compartment coupled to an opening in the countertop proximate a side of the bowl, a support block slidably mounted to an interior of the compartment, and a frame pivotably mounted to the support block and designed to secure a kitchen equipment member therein. The knife block comprises a first front end member comprising a first front end member top surface notch; a second front end member, comprising a second front end member top surface notch, the first front end member top surface notch and the second front end member top surface notch defining a front end aperture; a plurality of elongated members; a back-end member; and a plurality of dividers disposed between at least one of the first front end member, the second front end member, the plurality of elongated members, and the back-end member. The tray is configured to house at least one of the utensil bucket, the utensil block, and the knife block.

A storage system which includes storage receptacles that are slidably mounted along a support member. The storage system may be formed as part of a cabinet. In one aspect, there may be a cabinet including a housing defining a cavity having an opening, the housing including a first sidewall and a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall. A support rod may be supported within the cavity of the housing to extend between the first and second sidewalls of the housing. There may be at least one storage receptacle having a mounting element, so that the at least one storage receptacle is slidably mounted to the support rod by engagement between the mounting element of the storage receptacle and the support rod. The storage system may not include a cabinet in all embodiments and the support rod or member may instead be mounted on a support surface such as a wall.

A storage system which includes storage receptacles that are slidably mounted along a support member. The storage system may be formed as part of a cabinet. In one aspect, there may be a cabinet including a housing defining a cavity having an opening, the housing including a first sidewall and a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall. A support rod may be supported within the cavity of the housing to extend between the first and second sidewalls of the housing. There may be at least one storage receptacle having a mounting element, so that the at least one storage receptacle is slidably mounted to the support rod by engagement between the mounting element of the storage receptacle and the support rod. The storage system may not include a cabinet in all embodiments and the support rod or member may instead be mounted on a support surface such as a wall.
