The functionalized fibrous hierarchical zeolite is functionalized with at least one terminal amine bonded to a silicon atom. Terminal organometallic functionalities are bonded to a nitrogen atom of the at least one terminal amine, the terminal organometallic functionalities comprising a platinum atom.
