Steroid derivative regulators, a method for preparing the same, and uses thereof are described. Specifically, a compound as shown in formula (I), a preparation method therefor, a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound, and uses thereof as a regulator of GABA A receptor for treating depression, convulsion, Parkinson's disease, and nervous system diseases are described, wherein the substituents of the formula (I) are as defined in the description.

The present invention provides a composition for adjusting biological tissue size and a method for adjusting the size of biological tissue using the said composition. The composition for adjusting the size of biological tissue according to the present invention can adjust the size of biological tissue according to the specifications of a microscope and the needs of a researcher, and can be used as a mounting solution to easily acquire an image of the biological tissue. Therefore, the composition can be usefully used to reveal the causes of and find treatment methods for various disorders.

Described herein is the chemical structure of neurosteroid derivative compounds, methods of synthesizing the derivatives, and their uses in treating disorders, including those of the central nervous system. These compounds are readily synthesized and have improved pharmaceutical properties, including water solubility, compared to known neurosteroids.
