The refrigerator appliance also includes a drawer slidably mounted within one of the fresh food storage chamber and the frozen food storage chamber. The drawer includes a drawer body defining an interior of the drawer and a door attached to the drawer body via a hinge such that the door is rotatable relative to the drawer body between a closed position where the door encloses the interior of the drawer and an open position to provide access to the interior of the drawer. The hinge includes a damper assembly configured to dampen rotation of the door from the closed position to the open position.

A drawer release mechanism has a handle having ends, a cylindrical portion and a flange. A pair of end cap interfaces are engaged to the ends of the handle. The end cap interfaces have rotational shafts, cylindrical receiving portions, receiving slots, and flange slots. A pair of end caps are exterior to the end cap interfaces, the end caps have flange recesses, rotation surfaces, shaft openings, and cam receiving areas, where the rotational shafts are disposed through the shaft openings, the receiving portions are adjacent to the rotation surfaces, and the flange slots are disposed in the flange recesses. The end caps are attached to a drawer. A cam is engaged to each of the rotational shafts. Each cam includes a shaft receiver, an actuator support and a cam actuator. The cams engage levers to release a drawer from a cabinet upon actuation of the handle.

The chest of drawers includes a first identification element visible from the outside of the fixed structure configured to provide information regarding the contents of the drawer.

The cassette unit includes storage bins and a control bin. The cassette unit contains different size of storage bins and a control bin. The smart locker system further includes a touch screen and authentication devices. The smart locker system can arrange the storage bins and the control bins to maintain the height of the smart locker system.
