A refrigerator includes a drawer-type door with a vertical adjustment unit. The drawer-type door includes a front cover for a storage compartment, a support frame coupled to the back side of the cover and operable to slide along a rail, a storage container coupled to the support frame and a vertical adjustment unit configured to adjust a vertical position of the cover. The vertical adjustment unit includes a knob rotatably coupled to the support frame via a rotary screw and comprising a plurality of cam surfaces with different distances from the rotary screw. The cover's vertical position varies with the knob's rotational position. As a user rotates the knob to a predetermined rotational position, a stopper disposed on the cover can retain the knob's position through contact with one of the cam surfaces. Thereby the cover is adjusted to a new height.

A refrigerator includes a drawer-type door with a vertical adjustment unit. The drawer-type door includes a front cover for a storage compartment, a support frame coupled to the back side of the cover and operable to slide along a rail, a storage container coupled to the support frame and a vertical adjustment unit configured to adjust a vertical position of the cover. The drawer has having a drawer frame with two side rails, a back, and a front, metal bracket extending between and connecting each of the two side rails, defining an opening into which an open topped container may be inserted and supported by the frame. The drawer has a drawer front having a finished outer-facing surface and an inside surface for attaching to the metal bracket, the inside surface having formed thereon a recess extending from a top edge of the drawer front to at least the top edge of the metal bracket.

An insert is sized to be received and retained between the base plate and the frame and viewable through the view opening. A method is provided for decorating the cabinet, the drawer, or the bin, by installing the base plate on a face. An insert is inserted between the base plate and the frame, which is attached to the base plate to retain the insert between the base plate and the frame and to display the insert through a view opening in the frame. A method is provided by opening the frame. A first insert is removed from the face. A second insert is inserted to the face. The frame is closed to the face.

A carpenter's workstation for facilitating installation and repair of doors includes a pair of cabinets. Each cabinet comprises a housing and defines an internal space. A plurality of slots is positioned in a front face of the housing. Each cabinet comprises a plurality of drawers that is complementary to the slots. A dual-functioning drawer for a case piece of furniture that can transition from an enclosed drawer to an open media shelf for storing electronic components or devices. The drawer front is affixed to the drawer sides with brackets that rotate about a pivot point to rotate the drawer front from a vertical position to a horizontal position such that the drawer front rests on top of the drawer sides and is receded in the case piece.
