Device for storing piece goods, in particular a shelf unit or a cupboard, having at least one shelf, which has an upper side, on which the piece good is storable in a surveillance space, and a lower side and openings, which run from the upper side to the lower side, as well as signal transmitting devices having associated signal receiving devices, wherein at least one type of the devices is arranged in the openings at the lower side, and a signal of the signal transmitting devices is detectable by the signal receiving devices, as well as a control electronics having a control system, which energize the signal transmitting devices and the signal receiving devices and process the signals of the signal receiving devices and identify them, so as to identify an occupancy state of the surveillance space with piece goods on the basis of the existence of a signal at the respective signal receiving device.

Slide arrangement for cable drawer

A drawer slide having first and second rails interconnected by a center rail. The center rail includes a spool configured to provide half-speed travel of the center rail relative to the travel of the first rail. The drawer slide is configured for use with a drawer assembly having a drawer and a chassis. The drawer assembly further includes a radius limiter secured to the center rail. The radius limiter travels at half-speed relative to the drawer. The radius limiter also automatically rotates relative to the travel of the drawer. The chassis includes sides including threaded backing plates, and mounting brackets. The mounting brackets include tri-lobed holes for receipt of a reciprocally shaped washer and a fastener for mounting the brackets to the chassis sides.

CABINET SYSTEM

A cabinet system may include a storage container mountable in a cabinet to be movable between being extended out of the cabinet, and being disposed inside the cabinet. The system may include a pair of slide members, and a power connection point. The slide members may slidably connect the storage container and the cabinet. The power connection point includes a cover and an electric outlet. The cover is moveable between a closed position where the electric outlet is inaccessible by a power plug, and an open position where the electric outlet is accessible by the power plug. Slidable movement of the storage container to move the power connection point from outside to inside the cabinet is denied due the cover, in the open position, extending away from the storage container.

Modular storage system with foldable storage containers

A modular storage system having a frame system, a rod attachment system, and one or more shelves or storage containers. The rod attachment system comprises a rod, a connector, and a fastener. The connector may be secured around a support rod of the frame system and the fastener may extend through the connector and secure the rod to the frame system. The rod may also be secured in a wall mount. The frame system may have a plurality of shelf openings and the shelves or storage containers may be interchangeably disposed in the shelf openings. The storage containers may have an end wall which is substantially the height of the shelf opening and an end wall which is less than the height of the shelf opening. The storage container may be disposed in the shelf opening with either end wall facing out of the shelf opening.
