This invention provides a supporting arm for a storage rack, comprising a body; a supporting portion for installing a board; and a first tab and a second tab for engaging a frame body structure; the body is provided with a vacant portion for the second tab to be engaged with the frame body structure; the supporting portion is connected to the body; the first tab is provided at one end of the body, the second tab is disposed near the other end of the body and facing the vacant portion, so that the supporting portion for installing the board is fixed on the frame body structure through the first tab and the second tab. The supporting arm for a storage rack of the invention has a simple structure and strong practicability. Not only can the supporting arm form a stable connection with a frame body structure, it also provides the storage rack better support effect, thereby improving the structural strength of the storage rack.

A shelf system for mounting a shelf to a wall, which includes a shelf having a rear edge and first and second shelf fasteners coupled to the shelf and protruding from the rear edge. The shelf system may also include a mounting bracket assembly for mounting directly to a wall and to which the shelf is to be coupled. The mounting bracket assembly may include first and second shelf engaging portions that have mounting apertures therethrough. Wall fasteners may extend through the mounting apertures of the first and second shelf engaging portions to mount the mounting bracket assembly to the wall. The portions of the first and second shelf fasteners which protrude from the rear edge of the shelf may be inserted into the mounting apertures of the first and second shelf engaging portions of the mounting bracket assembly to couple the shelf to the mounting bracket assembly.

An article includes at least first and second members. A decorative object is within the second member. Interlocking features are adapted to removably interlock the first and second members together. The interlocking features include a channel and a rail that are complementarily shaped so that the rail is receivable within the channel to removably interlock the rail with the channel. At least the second member is formed of a translucent or transparent material so that the decorative object within the second member is visible through the member.

The presently claimed subject matter concerns modular furniture. More specifically the presently claimed subject matter concerns modular furniture, a method for its assembly and couplers therefor.

In various representative aspects, an apparatus for securing accessories to a steel-wired shelf. More specifically, the apparatus is an interface that conforms to the shapes of openings in the side panels on the shelf units and provides an interference fit. A variety of accessories can be secured to the interfaces by using a standard nut and bolt connection means. A second embodiment pertains to an interface that is secured to the evenly spaced horizontal wire arrays on the shelves that can level objects that are placed on top of the wire array. Various embodiments of the apparatuses are also provided.

A floating fixture system and method includes wall attachment members and mounting brackets for mounting a fixture on a wall so it floats from the wall. Hook and hook-receiving structures temporarily hold the fixture to the wall while additional components more permanently secure the fixture to the wall. The system can allow a floating fixture to be installed more quickly and by fewer persons, and without the need to cut components at the installation site.

Disclosed is a device for supporting and fixing shelves of furniture items, such as bookcases, shelf units and the like. The device includes a casing of substantially cylindrical shape, inside whereof is mounted a pin that is stressed by a compression spring, the device being inserted in the edge of a shelf, with a tip of the pin normally protruding from the edge of the shelf and apt to re-enter the casing when the shelf is brought into interference with a wall of the furniture item, wherein a cam element is provided for the actuation of the pin between a position of maximum extraction and a position of minimum extraction of the tip from the casing, the pin being free to spring to re-enter the casing when the cam element is in the positions of maximum and minimum extraction of the tip.

The invention provides apparatus for mounting a furniture unit to a wall and, in particular, to wall studs. The apparatus includes sliding fixings that allow the spacing between fixing members to be adjusted and, thereby, allow the horizontal position of the furniture unit to adjusted to any desired position relative to the wall studs.

A joint for use in a piece of furniture or other furnishing item with a shoulder and a shelf, stably interconnected by the joint perpendicularly to each other, is maneuvered with an actuation and blocking system. The joint includes a pin with a fixing element, which becomes at least partially inserted in holes defined in the shoulder and the shelf, the pin having a side hole for receiving a shaped stem that extends from the actuation and blocking group of the joint. The actuation and blocking group has a 90° transmission between a maneuvering point, which is accessible from the front of the furniture, and the shaped stem, which is inserted in the side hole of the pin. Reciprocal retention elements, provided between the pin and the actuation and blocking group, withhold the pin in the hole of the shelf housing the pin.
