SOLVENT CEMENT FORMULATIONS HAVING EXTENDED SHELF LIFE
Disclosed are solvent cement formulations having beneficial stability and performance characteristics that include a thermoplastic resin, one or more organic solvents, an inhibitor of an oxidation-reduction reaction, and a heat stabilizer.
Processes for preparing epoxidized polymers
The present invention is directed to a process for preparing epoxidized polymers. The process comprises reacting an unsaturated polymer with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a polymer support having a sulfonic acid group. The present invention is also directed to an epoxidized halogenated-polymer which comprises repeating units derived from at least one isoolefin monomer and repeating units derived from at least one diolefinic monomer, and one or more allylic halide groups and one or more oxirane functional groups in the polymer backbone.

DISPERSION COMPOSITION
An alcohol-based composition may contain an acryl-modified polyolefin resin and exhibit a good adhesion even at a high solid content, suppress an increase in viscosity, and have good stability such as dispersibility and sustainable stability. A dispersion composition may contain at least a modified polyolefin resin dispersed in a dispersing medium containing an alcohol solvent and an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent. The modified polyolefin resin may be modified with a (meth)acrylic acid component containing at least a (meth)acrylic ester of formula (I) and a (meth)acrylic ester of formula (II). The total content of the structure derived from the (meth)acrylic acid component in the dispersion composition is 3% to 94% by weight, relative to 100% by weight as a total amount of the modified polyolefin resin and (meth)acrylic acid component polymer, and a solid fraction in the dispersion composition is 30% to 80% by weight.

PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF BROMINATED COPOLYMERS OF CONJUGATED DIENES AND STYRENIC MONOMERS
A brominated copolymer of at least one conjugated diene and at least one styrenic monomer is prepared such that at least 45 percent, but no more than 70 percent, of the non-aromatic double bonds In the copolymer are brominated. The produced brominated copolymer is useful as a flame retardant and exhibits surprisingly small domain sizes after dissolution in styrenic monomer which is subsequently polymerized.
