Modular post assembly for a shelf storage rack

An angle bar includes two longitudinal angled plate portions, and a corner portion connecting therebetween. The corner portion has an inner corner surface bounding an inner corner space and an outer corner surface. A stopper protrudes into the indented corner space, and has an abutment face extending across the indented corner space. A limiter protrudes into the indented corner space from the inner corner surface, and has a through hole opening in a direction along a bending line of the corner portion. A modular post assembly has at least two angle bars abutting each other, and a fixing rod extending through the through holes of the bars along the bending line and limited between the stoppers for fixing together the bars.

Adjustable bathroom handrail assembly

An adjustable bathroom handrail assembly is provided with a pair of elongate vertical handles with mounting hardware to mount to an upright support surface and spaced apart from the upright support surface. An adjustable horizontal bar extends between the pair of vertical handles, and a locking mechanism connects the at least one adjustable horizontal bar and one of the pair of elongate vertical handles. A locking mechanism is located at an intersection of the horizontal bar and the one of the elongate vertical handles. A method for installing and adjusting wall-mount hardware installs a pair of elongate vertical handles to an upright support surface. The ends of a horizontal bar are installed onto the pair of elongate vertical handles. A locking mechanism on the horizontal bar is disengaged to adjust the horizontal bar to a location along the pair of elongate vertical handles.

MERCHANDISE INVENTORY DATA COLLECTION FOR SHELF SYSTEMS USING LIGHT SENSORS
20170220987 · 2017-08-03 ·

Disclosed is a system for real-time measurement of inventory on shelves. The system uses light sensors placed in association with the inventory and the shelves to measure in real-time the removal/replacement of inventory from the shelves. When inventory is on the shelves, less light reaches the light sensors. As inventory is removed from shelves, the light sensors receive more light. The difference in light received generates as signal that can be measured, thereby allowing for determining inventory levels on each shelf. The system may be retro-fitted to existing shelving systems, thereby avoiding the cost of purchasing new shelving systems. The system can work on any shelving system, including gravity-feed roller shelf (GRS), flat shelves, and spring loaded pusher shelves, and is unaffected by usual temperatures found in retail establishments and can thus work in both refrigerated and unrefrigerated systems. Also disclosed are related methods.

Shelving system

A shelving system includes a plurality of horizontal support members, each horizontal support member having a length; a plurality of wall supports, each wall support including a first surface on which at least a portion of a horizontal support member rests; a plurality of brackets, each bracket attachable to the horizontal support members at different positions along the length of the horizontal support member; a plurality of vertical support members, each vertical support member coupled to at least one bracket; and a shelf attached to at least two of the plurality of vertical support members.

Middle shelf installation tool

A middle shelf installation tool is disclosed for use in combination with a pair of upstanding corner posts during the assembly of a boltless shelving system. Upper and lower sets of hingedly connected corner post surrounding members are spaced one above the other so as to extend across the top and bottom of the installation tool. The installation tool is wrapped in surrounding engagement around the bottom of an upper one of the pair of corner posts and the top of the lower one of the pair. The installation tool forms a splice to hold the upper and lower corner posts in axial alignment one above the other to facilitate the location by a single individual of a middle shelf at the intersection between the corner posts to lie between upper and lower shelves of the system. Once the middle shelf has been installed, the installation tool is pulled off and removed from the corner posts.

SHELF

The present invention discloses a shelf comprising a plurality of cross beams, a plurality of support portions and at least one rest portion. Each of the cross beams is connected to a corresponding support portion by a connector, and a side face of each of the cross beams has a rest face for placement of a corresponding rest portion. At least two opposite ends of the rest portion are arranged on the rest faces, in the same plane, of at least two corresponding cross beams. The plurality of cross beams and the plurality of support portions are profiles formed by die extrusion-stretching. Compared with a traditional shelf, the shelf according to the present invention has the advantages of light weight, having less tendency to rust and corrode, being easy to disassemble and assemble, being free of stress concentration problem, and the like.

Retail shelving system

A shelving system is provided. The shelving system includes an upper rail, and optionally a lower rail, from which one or more upright supports extend. The upright supports are slidable within the upper and lower rails so that a user may vary their location. A shelf mounts to the upright supports. The shelf includes interlocking deck panels and selectively removable support bars so that it may be assembled onto the upright supports.

SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SHELVES

A support system for mounting a shelf to cabinet walls having vertical slots therein. The support system comprises rack rails to insert in the slots, each one of the rack rails comprises a series of upwardly arched channels. The support system further comprises mounting components to mount to the rack rails at similar heights, each one of the mounting components comprising a support face for supporting the shelf, an arched arm to be inserted in the arched channel, and an abutting face to contact one of 1—the rack rails to be mounted thereto and 2—one of the cabinet walls to be mounted thereto through one of the rack rails thereby limiting course of the arched arm in the arched channel. Once the mounting components are mounted to the rack rails, the mounted components provide support faces to set down the shelf thereon.

STORAGE SYSTEM AND HARDWARE
