20210171675 · 2021-06-10 ·

The present invention pertains to vinylidene fluoride copolymers comprising recurring units derived from hydrophilic (meth)acrylic monomers and from perhalogenated monomers and to their use as binders for silicon negative electrodes.

Method for treating an elastomer packaging element, and packaging element thus treated
10995190 · 2021-05-04 · ·

A method of treating an elastomer packaging element (10), in particular a stopper for medical or pharmaceutical use, the packaging element (10) having a bottom portion (11) that is to penetrate into a neck (21) of a container (20) and a top portion (12) that is to co-operate in sealed manner with a top surface (22) of said neck (21) of the container (20). The top surface of the top portion (12) is treated by a plasma-assisted polymerization method at atmospheric pressure using a plasma flame created at atmospheric pressure and into which a monomer is injected, the monomer polymerizing on the top surface in order to form a coating (18).

Composite resin material and molded body

Provided is a composite resin material that yields a resin molded body which has not only a low volume resistivity but also excellent electroconductivity and/or antistatic properties and whose volume resistivity is unlikely to be increased even when subjected to, for example, a washing treatment with ozone water. The composite resin material contains a polychlorotrifluoroethylene and carbon nanotubes and has an average particle diameter of 500 m or smaller.

The invention relates to novel linear, semi-crystalline fluoropolymers containing 0.5 to 25 mole percent of at least one vinyl ester monomer unit. At least 40 mole percent of the vinyl ester monomer units are present in the copolymer as single monomer units (not diads or triads or greater) between two fluoromonomer units. The invention also relates to a process for forming the fluoromonomers/vinyl ester copolymer. The fluoropolymer of the invention may be used in applications benefiting from a functional fluoropolymers including as a binder or coating in batteries, or for use in forming hydrophilic membranes and hollow fibers.
