Storage support member and grating system

Warehouse support structures capable of supporting 3000 pounds or more are fastened to the inside surface of a horizontal support beam attached to a vertical column. A structural support member spans the horizontal support beams and support a platform, such as a mesh platform is supported thereon. The support member can be an inverted formed U or an angle beam. The angle beam should have an attachment bracket secured to each end, at a height to permit the platform to have the same height as the horizontal beam. The mesh platform should nest in the inside surface of the horizontal beam, between the support member and the beam. The construction presents a smooth, easy to assemble, snag free construction.

A table assembly comprises a table top having an upper surface, a lower surface, and first and second ends. A table frame comprises a pair of first and second lateral frame structures for respectively receiving the first and second ends of the tabletop. Further, a securing post extending between the first and second lateral frame structures.

SHELVING SYSTEM

A shelving system comprises a horizontal beam, a vertical beam, a bracket, a rack, and a position-limiting piece. The vertical beam is slidably connected to the horizontal beam, the bracket is detachably connected to the vertical beam, the rack is in contact with an upper edge of the bracket, the position-limiting piece is detachably connected to the bracket through a gasket, and the position-limiting piece is connected to the bracket and can prevent the rack from moving relative to the bracket. In the present application, the strength of a connecting part between the bracket and the vertical beam is enhanced by the gasket, and the stability of the bracket and the rack is increased by the position-limiting piece, thereby improving the goods carrying capacity of the shelving system as a whole.

Combined type shelf

A combined type shelf includes parallel-rod side frames, inter-frame connectors, storage layers and horizontal constraint frames. The parallel-rod side frame includes a first vertical bar, a second vertical bar and a horizontal bar. The inter-frame connector includes a connector body, two lateral plates, a hole and lower interference parts. The storage layer is disposed between two horizontal constraint frames. The horizontal constraint frame includes a horizontal stop member and a constraint-frame coupling member. The constraint-frame coupling member includes upper interference parts to buckle the lower interference parts so as to connect the horizontal constraint frame to the inter-frame connector.

SHELF SUPPORT BEAMS AND SHELVING UNITS UTILIZING SAME

A shelf support beam (130) for use in a shelving unit (10) to support a shelf (22). A structural member (132) has a C-shaped cross-section. A web (144) separates a top flange (146) from a bottom flange (162). The top flange (146) is configured to support the shelf (22). The web (144), the top flange (146), and the bottom flange (162) define a channel (142). The channel (142) defines a cavity height (D1). The top flange (146) and the bottom flange (162) define a top flange width (D2) and a bottom flange width (D3), respectively. A ratio of the cavity height (D1) to a sum of the top flange width (D2) and the bottom flange width (D3) is greater than 1.707 or greater than 1.8. The cross-section has a moment of inertia of greater than 0.0613 or at least 0.0617. The web (144) includes a recessed region (164) in which the structural member (132) is offset in a direction into the channel (142). A centroid (148) of the cross-section is within 0.125 inch of the recessed region (164).

Shelving system

A shelving system comprises four corner columns, a plurality of substantially horizontal support beams, and a plurality of beam braces. Each of the support beams extends between two of the four corner columns, and each support beam is paired with a corresponding second support beam to form pairs of support beams. Each of the beam braces extends between the support beams of one of the pairs of support beams and comprises a first end portion, a second end portion, and a middle portion. The first and second end portions comprise substantially planar faces. The middle portion is between the first end portion and the second end portion and comprises first and second edges, wherein the first end portion and the second end portion extend away from the first and second edges, respectively, in opposite directions.

A connector system for connecting components to a base member is disclosed. In some embodiments, the connector system is used for the installation of furniture components in an in-line arrangement. The connector system includes a base member and a component connector for mounting a component relative to the base member. The component connector is configured for engaging the base member in a connectable state and a connected state. While the component connector is disposed in the connectable state, the component connector is supported by the base member and displaceable relative to the base member. Once the component connector is positioned relative to the base member, the component connector is upwardly displaced relative to the base member, via a lifting mechanism, such that the component connector transitions to the connected state where it is disposed for coupling with the component such that the component is secured to the base member.
